Eugenio Suárez's 2-run double caps Diamondbacks' seven-run ninth in 11-10 win over Braves

ATLANTA — Eugenio Suárez hit a go-ahead, two-run double off Raisel Iglesias to cap a seven-run ninth inning, and the Arizona Diamondbacks stunned the Atlanta Braves 11-10 on Thursday to sweep a three-game series. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a one-out homer in the ninth and Alek Thomas followed with a two-run shot, both off Scott Blewett, to get the Diamondbacks within 10-7. Eugenio Suárez's 2-run double caps Diamondbacks' seven-run ninth in 11-10 win over Braves

ATLANTA (AP) — Eugenio Suárez hit a go-ahead, two-run double off Raisel Iglesias to cap a seven-run ninth inning, and the Arizona Diamondbacks stunned the Atlanta Braves 11-10 on Thursday to sweep a three-game series. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a one-out homer in the ninth and Alek Thomas followed with a two-run shot, both off Scott Blewett, to get the Diamondbacks within 10-7. After Blewett walked the next batter, the Braves brought in closer Iglesias (3-5), who allowed hits to four of the next five to blow a save for the fourth time this season. Ketel Marte homered for Arizona in the eighth and had an RBI infield single in the ninth that made it 10-8. After Iglesias got a popup for the second out, Ildemaro Vargas hit an RBI single and Suárez completed the rally with his line drive to left. Shelby Miller worked the bottom half to pick up his sixth save for Arizona, which has won four straight. Kendall Graveman (1-0) pitched the eighth. Ronald Acuña Jr., Austin Riley and Drake Baldwin homered for the Braves, who have lost four straight and 11 of 14. Atlanta had scored just five runs in its previous three games but finished with 12 hits, eight for extra bases. Arizona starter Brandon Pfaadt allowed six runs (five earned) in three innings. He has an 11.09 ERA in his last five starts. Tommy Henry surrendered three homers in relief. Key moment Marcell Ozuna hit into a game-ending double play to boos from the Truist Park crowd. Key stat Ozzie Albies extended his on-base streak to 20 games with a walk. He has hits in 17 of the 20. Up next Atlanta's Spencer Schwellenbach (4-4, 3.13 ERA) will open a three-game series at San Francisco against Hayden Birdsong (3-1, 2.37) on Friday. The Diamondbacks had not announced who will oppose the Reds' Nick Lodolo (4-4, 3.10) in the opener of a series at Cincinnati. ___ AP MLB:

What to watch this weekend: New TV shows, movies on streaming

What to watch this weekend: New TV shows, movies on streaming What to watch this weekend: the eternal question. Week in and week out, streaming services unveil a slew of new series and films, from high-profile originals everybody is talking about to foreign acquisitions that you trip over while scrolling through the apps. It's hard to sort through it all. To help, we've listed out every new film, series and special that will stream June 5-7, 2025, across the major platforms. We've highlighted the TV shows (and a few movies) we think are a little more worth your notice, from soapy "Ginny & Georgia" on Netflix to George Clooney's big Broadway bow on Max and CNN. New on streaming Thursday, June 5 "Barracuda Queens" Season 2 (Netflix) "Bea's Block" (kids/family, Max) "Chespirito: Not Really on Purpose" (Max) "Ginny & Georgia" Season 3 (Netflix) The third season of Netflix's popular and emotional family drama ups the soapy antics for the new episodes: Georgia (Brianne Howey) has just been arrested for murder during her wedding− ruining her fairy-tale ending and putting the spotlight on the Millers like never before. It's always been Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite like this. "House on Fire" (BET+) "The Killer Clown: Murder on the Doorstep" (AMC+/Sundance Now) "Tires" Season 2 (Netflix) A new season of the sitcom arrives from comedian Shane Gillis. New on streaming Friday, June 6 "K.O." (movie, Netflix) "Mercy for None" (Netflix) "Phineas and Ferb" (Disney+) Debuting first on Disney Channel on June 5, this revival of the popular animated musical series from the 2000s brings back all the manic energy parents of Gen Z remember. "Predator: Killer of Killers" (movie, Hulu) A new and very different kind of installment in the "Predator" franchise, this (very adult) animated anthology film hails from director Dan Trachtenberg, who directed the well-reviewed seventh film in the series, "Prey" (2022). "Killer of Killer" has three different segments, each set in a different time period in history (the Vikings era, feudal Japan and World War II), and each with heroes encountering the titular alien killers in very bloody battles. And it's not the only "Predator" story from Trachtenberg this year; his film "Predator: Badlands" will open in theaters November 7. "Straw" (movie, Netflix) "The Survivors" (Netflix) New on streaming Saturday, June 7 "Soaring to Life: The Making of How to Train Your Dragon" (Peacock, TV special) "Good Night and Good Luck" ( 7 ET/4 PT, Max, CNN apps, with no login required) CNN and Max are giving viewers a taste of Broadway a night before the Great White Way's annual awards show. They're livestreaming the penultimate performance of George Clooney's Tony-nominated play based on the 2005 film starring and directed by Clooney. New on streaming Sunday, June 8
