Yara Sameh
The holiday season is in full swing, and BTS' V is getting into the festive spirit by releasing on Friday a duet version of Bing Crosby's classic holiday 1942 hit 'White Christmas'.
'I'm so grateful to have had the chance to be featured in a song with my all-time favorite jazz artist, Bing Crosby,' V previously said of the track in a statement. 'I grew up listening to his song 'It's Been a Long, Long Time' countless times a day, and I feel incredibly fortunate and honored to have sung along on 'White Christmas' with the voice of someone I consider an idol.'
'Being a huge fan of his, I sang with the utmost sincerity and admiration for him,' continued the superstar, who previously covered 'It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.' 'I hope many people enjoy it as much as I enjoyed singing it. Lastly, I wish a lovely holiday season to everyone listening to the song.'
Originally recorded for the 1942 movie "Holiday Inn" and later heavily featured in the 1954 movie "White Christmas", Crosby's enduring hit is widely renowned as the bestselling single of all time.
Mary, Crosby's daughter, said in a statement about her father's new posthumous collaboration, 'As a family, we are thrilled to have V and Dad singing together on this ultimate Christmas song. Their voices blend beautifully, capturing the holiday spirit in the best possible way,'.
'We are happy that V will help share the joy of this timeless Christmas song," the legendary performer's son Harry added.
The Christmas jingle, which Irving Berlin wrote in only 18 minutes, remains the best-selling song of all time with 50 million copies sold globally, according to Guinness World Records.
'White Christmas' also won the Oscar for best original song in the 1942 musical film Holiday Inn and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1974.

BTS Reveals Plans for 2025 Festa Celebration in South Korea
Yara Sameh BTS has revealed new details about their upcoming 2025 FESTA, marking the K-pop group's 12th anniversary. FESTA is a yearly event that brings together BTS and their fans, ARMY, to celebrate their debut anniversary. This year's offline celebration is set for June 13–14 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Goyang, South Korea. The event will be open to the public and feature interactive activities, including a FESTA-themed game zone, DIY photo card stations, and a coloring wall inspired by BTS' album artwork. Attendees can also enjoy hourly light shows, explore a voice zone featuring messages from the BTS members, and visit an archive exhibit showcasing album covers, trophies and the members' personalized lockers. In conjunction with the in-person festivities, a lineup of online content — such as the annual 'BTS LIVE' and the family portrait — will be released. Exclusive merchandise will also be available. It remains unclear whether any BTS members — Jin, RM, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook — will appear or perform at this year's FESTA. At the 2024 FESTA, Jin made his first public appearance after completing his mandatory military service, personally greeting 1,000 fans with hugs. He also performed solo tracks 'The Astronaut' and 'Super Tuna,' along with BTS' 'Moon.' While none of the other BTS members were able to attend last year's FESTA, each wrote heartfelt letters to ARMY that were shared during the event. BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, began forming in 2010 after Big Hit Entertainment founder Bang Si-hyuk recruited RM followed by Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. However, the band officially debuted in 2013. Since then, the artists have gone on to experience dynamite success, including two Grammy nominations, six no. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and an ARMY of fans. In recent years, each of the seven members has also made a mark individually, with all scoring solo entries on the Hot 100. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan

Nicki Minaj Contemplated Quitting Music Before
Yara Sameh Nicki Minaj has admitted there have been times when she has wanted to end her music career despite all her success. Despite the rapper, 42, being one of the world's best-selling music artists and the best-selling female rapper with over 100 million records sold, the inevitable criticism that comes with being in the spotlight has gotten to her over the years. In conversation with Vogue Italia , Minaj said: "I've heard every possible criticism about me. I've thought about quitting so many times. I'm glad I didn't. I hope my story can be an inspiration, and push kids, adults, anyone, not to give up,". The hitmaker is mother to a four-year-old boy, whose name she has not made public, with her husband, Kenneth 'Zoo' Petty. Minaj told how she delayed becoming a mother for the sake of her career and providing for her family members. "As a woman, I put off becoming a mother. A lot of women in the industry, especially older than me, never had children. Some don't regret it, but others do," she said. "I put it off, and I didn't go to every Thanksgiving, every Christmas, or birthday party because I had to work to support my family. I think the price was not having a 'normal' life,". "Things are different now, because I can give my son things I never had, but there are things I want to make sure he has, and I still need to figure out how to give them to him. When we go out, for example, I have to worry that someone will take his picture," the star added. Minaj also spoke about the discipline she received at a young age, saying: "I was one of those kids who could tell when an adult was stupid. The lack of discipline around me made me want to be the opposite. And I'm not always like that." "But I believe in working hard to get what you want. I had to fight for everything. I had nothing, and I wanted it more than anyone else,". Nicki was ambitious from a young age and would tell people she would one day become a star. She said: "And when my friends were drinking, or smoking weed, or trying to hit the clubs, sure, I went too, just not as often. Everyone used to say I had a natural high. That's how I was — happy, but focused. I used to tell people, 'I'm going to make it.' Almost like I already knew." read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies
