British and Irish Lions urged to ‘create moments' ahead of Australia tour opener
The Lions are eager to kickstart their tour after falling 28-24 to Argentina in the Dublin opener as they build towards the Test series against the Wallabies, which begins in Brisbane on July 19.
Although they may be the worst performing of Australia's Super Rugby sides this season, the Force have been reinforced by the presence of six Wallabies who have been released for the Optus Stadium showdown.

Scrum coach John Fogarty highlights the importance of the Lions rewarding their supporters – more than 30,000 are expected to head Down Under – after seeing the Aviva Stadium turn red last Friday.
'The lads need to create moments for people to get behind,' said Fogarty, who oversaw a dominant scrum performance against the Pumas.
'Whether it's in a scrum or off a line-out or attacking play or defensive play, we need to make sure we're creating moments that capture the minds of the people that matter most. That's the plan.
'It's an amazing thing, the Lions. You get behind it instantly. It was disappointing against Argentina because you feel like you're letting people down a little bit due to the performance and the result.'
Fogarty believes the Lions will be better for another week together, enabling them to build familiarity with each other.
'There were little things around mentality. Sometimes you come into a game, it's a big occasion and you're in your head a bit and not playing the game on instinct,' he said.
'That's why this week has been so important, we've been getting more cohesive and a bit more in synch so that come game day we can play off instincts. It should all become more natural to us.'

White, capped 25 times by Scotland, now hopes to use his initial disappointment at being overlooked by the Lions as motivational fuel. 'Obviously watching the squad being announced was tough, but it was an experience that I can put in the locker room,' he said. 'I knew I just had to do what I could and try and play well for my club, Toulon and obviously come here [to New Zealand]. 'All the players were in the lobby area [of the team hotel],' revealed Fergus Pringle, Scotland's tour forwards coach. 'And everyone was cheering and happy. I think everyone just literally had time to say, well done, shake his hand, give him a hug and then we were off to training. 'It's a big thing when that happens. You've seen some of the reactions of people getting selected when it was first announced. I'm sure it was just a bit of a shock at first. Gibson-Park and Russell form a creative axis for Wednesday's clash against the Queensland Reds after the Ireland scrum-half was given the green light to make his comeback from a glute injury. As the pre-tour favourites to start the Test series against Australia in the number nine and 10 jerseys, expectations are high for the partnership even if they will have been limited to a single training session together ahead of the Brisbane showdown. In a sign of the urgency to deploy them in tandem, especially after Tomos Williams was ruled out of the tour by a hamstring injury, Russell will be starting his second game in five days. Andy Farrell has urged caution over anticipation levels, stating they will be 'all singing, all dancing everything going to plan, but that won't be the case', but the ultimate fantasy pairing in British and Irish rugby is ready to shine. 'We know each other pretty well – we have played against each other enough,' Gibson-Park said ahead of his first outing with the Scotland fly-half. 'Andy Farrell phoned and the next thing this morning, Gregor (Townsend) was telling the team and the boys are buzzing and cheering and then Ben's off and we're off to the pitch to go and get training. Wales player blown away by call-up Eighteen-year-old Seren Lockwood "couldn't believe it" after she was called up to the Wales squad ahead of the Women's World Cup. Once I had taken in the news, after I got of the phone the first thing I did was pick it up again and call my parents because they have been my biggest supporters over the years and they were just as excited as me about the news. "Coming into camp I already knew a few of the girls from the Welsh environment…so that was good, but it still felt a bit strange and a bit like the first day of a new school term. "But once things got going, I settled in pretty quickly. I have always enjoyed challenging myself and I feel the experiences I have had over the last couple of years have helped me to feel ready to be here and I am just trying to give my best in every training session and see where it takes me." She was a 'player of national interest' during the Six Nations, and despite not being part of the official squad, she, along with others, spent time training with the first team. Speaking about her aspirations, Lockwood said: "My goal is to play for Wales, that is my dream and is something I am working hard to try and achieve. Millwall supporters were also slammed by the FA for chanting 'Let him die' at Palace star Jean-Philipe Matata while he lay stricken on the ground after a horror challenge from keeper Liam Roberts, who was sent off. Matata needed 10 minutes of treatment before being taken to hospital with a nasty gash on his head that required 25 stitches. The FA's extended action plan for Millwall covers communication ahead of games about their stance on anti-discrimination, sending their own stewards to high-risk games and ensuring they have an equality, diversity and inclusion committee.
