PFF: What do the Bills still need to 'think about' during the 2025 NFL offseason?
The Buffalo Bills front office has geared up the team for another run at a Super Bowl in 2025 but Pro Football Focus is not convinced all the work is done just yet.
The football analytics outlet broke down one item each NFL team still needs to "think about" this offseason. For Buffalo, it relates to linebacker Matt Milano.
Milano has undoubtedly been one of the best players at his position in football during his career but the issue that has popped up for him is his health.
Because of that, Milano and the Bills reworked his contract this offseason and he's in the final year of his deal in 2025. What PFF thinks the team needs to keep in mind moving forward is the status of Milano's future... but none of that can be determined until next season begins.
PFF's breakdown on Milano can be found below:
Milano is entering the final year of his contract, though there are two void years attached that the Bills could convert if he wants to keep playing. But if this is his last year in Buffalo, how does the team feel about the rest of the linebacker group?
Terrel Bernard struggled last season on his way to a 48.2 PFF overall grade, ranking 83rd among 90 linebackers, but the Bills signed him to a four-year extension this offseason, so he's not going anywhere. Dorian Williams wasn't much better (58.2) and is now halfway through his rookie deal. Could Buffalo look to make a big splash at linebacker in the 2026 NFL Draft?

NY Giants' Russell Wilson Drops Strong Malik Nabers Praise
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. After wrapping up their spring practice sessions, the New York Giants will soon be back in action for the training camp portion of the 2025 NFL offseason. When the Giants take the practice field once again, they hope to see the QB-WR combination of Russell Wilson and Malik Nabers in action. Although they haven't had a chance to work on their on-field connection just yet, Wilson is confident that his No. 1 target is going to show out as the top wideout in the league next season. At FanaticsFest this week, Wilson made a major claim about his sophomore wideout. "It's funny, my locker is actually the same locker that I had when we won the Super Bowl. The second thing is, my locker is right next to this dude, who is the best receiver in the league," Wilson said as he pointed to Nabers. It's no surprise Wilson considers his guy the best in the game. While some might argue that sentiment, Wilson might not be far off, considering the campaign Nabers just put together. Aller/Getty Images During his rookie season, Nabers ended up finishing the year within the top 10 for receiving yards. He caught 109 passes for 1,204 yards. As a rookie, the Giants wideout saw the end zone seven times. Nabers' 2024 season was highly impressive for two key reasons. The first was that he was a rookie. While plenty of rookies have come in and made day one impacts, producing like a top receiver without any prior NFL experience should always be viewed as an impressive feat. The second key reason was the fact that the Giants had no stability at the quarterback position. When the Giants selected Nabers out of LSU with the sixth-overall pick last year, they did it with the belief that Nabers and Daniel Jones could grow into a top QB-WR duo. Unfortunately, the Giants' former first-round passer did not pan out. Jones was benched before getting cut. For the remainder of the 2024 NFL season, the Giants couldn't get consistency under center, but that didn't stop Nabers from producing. The presence of Russell Wilson is expected to work wonders for Nabers. While Wilson is fighting a narrative that suggests his best days are long behind him, the one-time Super Bowl Champion could gain a big boost from playing with the talented 21-year-old Nabers next season. With Nabers currently nursing a toe injury, Wilson and Nabers haven't had a chance to go to work in OTAs or minicamp. If all goes right for Nabers over the next month, he should be back for training camp, putting together his first set of reps with the veteran quarterback.

Bills' Michael Hoecht: Super Bowl title would mean 'everything' to him
Michael Hoecht on what bringing a Super Bowl would mean to Buffalo & #BillsMafia 👀 @WKBW In little surprise, Michael Hoecht gets it. The pass rusher signed with the Buffalo Bills during free agency this offseason. He does have to face a suspension early on next season, but Hoecht is going to be chomping at the bit to get his Bills career going. That's because Hoecht completely understands what the Bills and a potential Super Bowl means to Buffalo. Despite already having won a Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams, it sounds like one with the Bills would be even bigger for Hoecht. That's because Hoecht is a close local to western New York as an Oakville, Ontario, native. Hoecht said during minicamp that bringing a title to Buffalo would be a massive achievement and credited Bills Mafia as his reason why a Super Bowl win would mean so much. Hoecht's explanation can be found in the clip below:
