A child was flown to the hospital after a crash in Greene County.

Around 7 p.m., Greene County Sheriff's Office and Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the 4200 block of Hussey Road for a crash.
An OSP sergeant confirmed a child was hit by a car and flown to Dayton Children's Hospital.
Troopers said the driver was taken to their post for questioning.

Man hides from police in retention pond after he ‘went to get a soda'
A man was arrested by police in a retention pond on Friday morning. [DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] Around 430p.m., officers were checking on a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the WestSpring Inn in Westlake, CBS-affiliate WOIO reported. They saw a man driving around and stopped to talk with him. He told officers he was staying at the hotel. The man, who was found partially submerged in the retention pond with his hands under the water, was taken into custody. The man was charged with failure to comply and resisting arrest.
