Ruben Amorim is expected to stay on as manager but he will likely oversee multiple departures when the transfer window reopens.
Maguire revealed there will be several comings and goings at Old Trafford, emphasising the importance of getting recruitment right.
He said to press at a commercial event in Mumbai: "We will make a lot of changes in the summer at the club.
"There will be a lot of players who leave and hopefully a lot of players will come in.
"And that's down to the club to make sure they get that right and it's down to us players to make sure that we are the ones that are involved."
Maguire deputised for captain Bruno Fernandes in the post-season friendly defeat to ASEAN All-Stars in Kuala Lumpur.
And it is a job he could take on full-time with Fernandes subject to a transfer bid from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
His agent reportedly held "productive talks" over the move, which could see United receive £100million for their talisman.
United are also seeking to cash in on Alejandro Garnacho, who is understood to have been informed he can leave along with Andre Onana and Luke Shaw.
While buyers are being found for outcasts like Jadon Sancho, Antony and Marcus Rashford, who all departed Old Trafford on loan in January.

Man Utd title winner didn't want to leave house after being mocked for his looks and got apology from Gary Lineker
LUKE CHADWICK has revealed he was left battling depression and anxiety after being mocked for his appearance. The former Manchester United midfielder was on the books at Old Trafford between 1997 and 2004. 3 3 3 Chadwick came through the United youth system, winning the Premier League in 2001. He would go to play for West Ham, Stoke and MK Dons in a near two-decade career. Ahead of releasing his autobiography Not Just a Pretty Face, the 44-year-old has opened up about abuse he suffered as a young pro. Chadwick admits cruel comments about his appearance made him want to hide away in his house in the early stages of his career. He told BBC Sport: "As a 19, 20-year-old it should have been the best time of my life but for a period of time. "I didn't want to go to the shops, I didn't want to go out with my friends. "I would just want to stay at home because I was so scared that people would talk about the way that I looked. "I wasn't able to speak about it to anyone – not even my family, my friends – it was something that I kept so deep inside. "I probably felt helpless, in a way, because I just didn't know how to deal with it. And I just wanted it to stop, really." Chadwick's anxiety improved after moving away from Old Trafford to join the Hammers in 2004. Ex-Man Utd player Luke Chadwick claims his 'stomach twisted' whenever he appeared on TV as he battled depression He continued: "It wasn't until I came away from Manchester United, and the spotlight's not on you as much. "I was able to rebuild my confidence and live a really happy life. "Football was always the place I felt free - the place where I didn't think about anything else." Chadwick also received an apology from Gary Lineker for comments made on the BBC show They Think It's All Over. Lineker was a team captain on the panel show, which regularly poked fun at Chadwick over his looks. Man Utd tipped for audacious Caoimhin Kelleher transfer from arch-rivals Liverpool to replace Andre Onana
LIVERPOOL goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher has been tipped for a shock move to fierce rivals Manchester United. United's goalkeeper crisis means they could look to sell Andre Onana Altay Bayindir and release Tom Heaton this summer. 1 Onana and No 2 stopper Bayindir are both prone to howlers, with United eyeing a complete reset. Meanwhile Kelleher, capped 22 times for Ireland already, is understood to want to compete for regular minutes. Kelleher secured his second Premier League title with Liverpool this season but only started 10 games with Alisson ahead of him in the pecking order. Prominent United reporter at ESPN Mark Ogden has put Kelleher on his shortlist of potential goalkeepers to replace Onana. Ogden said: "Kelleher wants to move, he wants to play football. "It would be good deal at such a low price to get someone with proven experience in English football." Liverpool value the 26-year-old in excess of £20million, with Brentford also interested. The champions have only been open to selling him since securing Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia last summer. Join SUN CLUB for the Man Utd Files every Thursday plus in-depth coverage and exclusives from Old Trafford Meanwhile, Aston Villa No 1 Emi Martinez is the bookie's favourite to replace Onana at Old Trafford. SunSport exclusively revealed that Martinez, twice voted Best Goalkeeper in the world, is reportedly up for the challenge. Martinez, 32, fuelled speculation when he broke down in tears and took a bow in front of the Holte End after Villa's final home game of the season. The World Cup winner's contract runs until 2029 but a bid of £40million or more would ease Villa's PSR concerns.

PSG vs Inter Milan - Champions League Final: Live score, team news and updates as Simone Inzaghi's men look to stop the French giants from lifting the title for the first time ever
'It's time to begin, isn't it?' That's a line in an Imagine Dragons song called 'It's Time', and for some reason, I thought it was a good way to open this blog. Don't ask me why, I was just trying to be clever. After nine months, 188 matches, a ridiculous amount of goals, raw emotion - good and bad - we have finally made it to the Champions League showpiece. In roughly five hours' time, one team will be lifting good Ol' Big Ears aloft into the Munich sky, and the 2025 European champions will be crowned. But who will it be: PSG or Inter Milan? Inter were in this very position two years ago in Istanbul, but as all English football fans will know, things didn't quite go to plan. Sorry, Manchester United fans, for reminding you of another painful moment in your recent history. PSG have also been here before, five years ago, but on this fateful day, they are still chasing their first Champions League crown. I, for one, have been excited for this game ever since the semi-finals. I have been itching to watch these two giants of the game go head-to-head, and now it's finally here. Get that music playing...
