Soaring 43 storeys above The Rocks, a palatial three-level penthouse with private elevator, wellness spa, super yacht-inspired rooftop and self-contained staff quarters has earned its moniker as The Skyhouse.
Now it's primed to earn its $30m price guide.
Towering over the harbour and crowning The Cove – designed by acclaimed Harry Seidler in the early 2000s – the apartment has been owned for approximately 15 years by Rod Salmon, CEO of COHO Property, former hotelier, race car driver and owner of super yacht Oneworld. High profile house hunters were rumoured to have circled the penthouse when it was last listed – but never sold – in 2018, with Nicole Kidman and John 'Aussie' Symond among the interested parties. 'The SkyHouse is a collector's piece,' he said.
At entry level there are the majority of everyday living spaces including an expansive combined lounge and living area with a side balcony, as well as an elegant dining zone and cocktail bar framed by walls of glass to showcase the enviable harbour outlook.

'I did that and they just put hearts on my items,' wrote another. Meanwhile, some argued that she shouldn't have shared this information publicly, as now everyone will do it and restaurants will catch on. 'Don't tell people this!' said one. However, others claimed it hasn't worked for them. 'I've done this for every order for five years and never got anything free,' they said. 'Most people just hate kindness, sadly'. It comes after a woman went viral last month for sharing a nifty way she got larger portions of takeaway food – and it came down to channelling your inner man. Emily Lemus claimed that using a man's name when ordering might lead to more generous portions – because workers assume they have bigger appetites. She seemingly 'proved' her theory by ordering identical meals from Chipotle, one with a man's name and one with a woman's, and then weighed them to see which one was larger. Every time she conducted the experiment, the man's order was slightly heavier. In the same month, a delivery driver also shared his tricks and tips for ordering from places like UberEats. 'You don't need to scam anyone or lie about your order,' he explained online. He said customers need to join restaurants' loyalty schemes that sometimes offer first-time customers free food. Additionally, he explained, 'Honestly, if you've got a birthday, you've got free food. Some people use this every year like clockwork'.

The Reds' hopes of beating the Crusaders in Friday night's Super Rugby Pacific qualifying final in Christchurch have been boosted by the availability of Wallabies captain Harry Wilson. There were fears Queensland's No.8 would miss the match after being forced off in the closing stages of the Reds' 52-7 win over Fijian Drua last Saturday after taking a knock to the arm he broke earlier this season. However, with scans having cleared Wilson, he will start against the Crusaders in a game the Queenslanders must win to remain alive in the finals series. 'It's really pleasing news for us but more importantly, for Harry,' Reds coach Les Kiss said. 'He's come through the early part of the week well. He's a true competitor when it comes to battles against the New Zealand sides and their top back-rows.' The Reds' starting pack is unchanged, with flanker Seru Uru failing in his bid to return from a knee injury. After 19 years in a job that had been his pride and joy, Dylan Leebody is being forced to hang up his boots as another company in the troubled South Australian city of Whyalla enters administration. "It was a bit shocking at first to realise they're saying the days are numbered for this workshop … it was a bit disheartening," he said. "A lot of people are stressed out obviously about finding work." The workshop leading hand is one of 47 workers staying on at steel fabrication company Ferretti International, owned by GFG Alliance, until its final projects are finished. More than 100 jobs have already been lost, with 34 active staff terminated and the cessation of employment formalised for another 65. Mr Leebody said many employees were likely to find new roles but some could have to look beyond Whyalla. But for workers like himself with two young boys, relocation or FIFO work was not an option. Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union SA secretary Stuart Gordon said entitlements were also a major concern. "There's around $2.1 million owed in entitlements currently, we hope they can find the money and that's paid out," he said. He said there was still hope among workers OneSteel would buy the plant. Speaking after the first creditors meeting for Ferretti on Monday, administrator Michael Brereton from William Buck said the business was reliant on OneSteel as "its major customer". That was confirmed in a statement provided to the ABC by a GFG spokesperson, which noted that placing OneSteel into administration had resulted in "a significant downturn of Ferretti's revenue and operations". "[Ferretti's] employees have valuable skills and while the continued employment of the Ferretti workforce is a matter for the administrators, it is hoped that some employees will transfer to OneSteel," the spokesperson said. Ferretti was not the only business experiencing job losses that have been blamed on the town's struggling steelworks. Rail haulage group Aurizon has also explored the reduction of its workforce. According to a statement provided to the ABC by Aurizon, OneSteel had advised of an intention to "ramp down mining operations in FY2026", which would result in a reduction in train services from July 2025. "Aurizon is consulting with our workforce on the impact of this decision on our Whyalla-based workforce, which is expected to see a potential reduction of up to 24 positions," it said. Rail, Tram, and Bus Union (RTBU) SA secretary Darren Phillips said the organisation was planning to "explore options with Aurizon moving forward". Whyalla City Council mayor Phill Stone said the community remained resilient in the face of more job losses and many hoped the eventual sale of the steelworks could turn things around.
