UFO horror as '1,000-foot-long alien spaceship' pictured by aeroplane pilot
Former Pentagon staffer Lue Elizondo shared an image taken by a civilian pilot of what's believed to be a massive UFO, and claimed that the US government is hiding 'hundreds' of similar snaps
We're obsessed with the idea of extra-terrestrial life, having been desperate to know what might be out there long before ET hit our screens. For some it's not just a passing thought, with many people dedicating their time and careers to tracking possible UFO sightings - and they claim to have just found one.
UFOs have now officially been renamed to UAPs, or Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. There's one group, the UAP Disclosure Fund, that's committed to tracking possible sightings and encouraging governments to open up about any eerie information they might be keeping in the most secret of files.
The group held a panel on May 1, held in collaboration with the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability and included members of Congress and leading UAP experts. There, they released a new photo of a suspected UAP - and it's huge. Captured at the meeting corner of the states of New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado, the snap shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, shows a white disc that could be seen as floating over a field.
Explaining that the photo was taken by a civilian pilot from above, the post shares: 'Captured near Four Corners at FL210—estimated 600-1,000 ft in diameter, silver-hued, disc-shaped.
'Released moments ago by @LueElizondo during our 'Science, National Security & Innovation' panel. Several speakers confirmed DoD & IC hold hundreds of similar UAP images + sensor files still classified. It's time for full declassification and open scientific analysis.'
While the photo definitely could be seen as a huge floating disk, while many people were stunned by the huge shape others were quick to try to debunk the image.
Alongside several photos that seemed to capture the specific field, one person wrote: 'This is clearly a crop circle, not a UAP. Mislabelling known terrestrial phenomena erodes public trust and undermines legitimate disclosure efforts. Please correct this mistake - your reputation is on the line.'
Others complained that all photos of possible UAPs seem to be much blurrier than modern cameras are able to capture, with one mocking: 'WOW is that 14k virtual reality definition? I can make out every detail of it. ....at least have the s****y photo professionally scanned for God sakes. The flash is glaring off it.'
The photo was shared on behalf of the civilian by Lue Elizondo, who's made a name for himself in the flying saucer game. He joined the Pentagon UAP programme in 2008 after 20 years of running intelligence operations in Afghanistan and the Middle East, and quickly turned to saying that the Pentagon is hiding the existence of UFOs from civilians.
After retiring from the government in 2017, he claimed that he spent his time at the Pentagon handling "alien" technology, and claims that "bodies" have been recovered from several sites.
Elizondo released a new book, Imminent: Inside the Pentagon's Hunt for UFOs, in 2017, claiming that the infamous Roswell incident in New Mexico in 1947 involved two flying saucers – and 'four deceased non-human bodies' were recovered from the wreckage and examined.
He later added: "I have held in my hand material that scientists for the US government have conducted research on, and they've said: 'This is very special material, it's highly unlikely that it's made by human beings – and it's engineered.
"I've also held in my hand biological samples, tissue samples, that have been removed from human beings – that when analysed, do not behave like anything that we are normally used to associating with being a natural part of the human body, and certainly looks to be some sort of technical device."
Now, Elizondo is on the war path to pressure the government to open up about the alien conspiracy, but his new photo has turned some fans against him.
Elizondo has said: "I wanted to be able to tell the American public my experiences and what the government has been doing for a very long time, not just when I was in the program, but for decades about the government's interest in UFOs.'

Decisions appear to have been taken quickly after Musk made a defiant threat to pull SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft, a lifeline to the International Space Station, after Trump first threatened to cancel SpaceX's lucrative government contracts. 'It turned really terrifying,' one NASA official admitted to the Washington Post after initially finding the feud 'entertaining.' Although Musk eventually walked back his threat, the damage was done. Officials from NASA and the Pentagon, already uneasy with their reliance on SpaceX, were rattled to the core. The flare-up served to remind officials of the risks of tying national interests to a mercurial billionaire. News of the decades-old prediction comes as governments around the world have begun publicly discussing what they know about unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). In the US, the Trump Administration has ordered the declassification of several top-secret topics, including government investigations into UFO sightings and alien life. Although the 2025 prediction was left vague, those who have interpreted Baba Vanga's prophecy believe the light clearly refers to an extraterrestrial spacecraft appearing over an unnamed sports venue. There is also speculation that the light could refer to a meteor shower, the Northern Lights, or the expected supernova of T Coronae Borealis Nova 3,000 light years away, which would be visible from Earth. Many believers thought this event would take place during the Super Bowl in February, which is one of the most viewed television events worldwide, but that did not happen. Baba Vanga's track record as a seer of future events rivaled the centuries-old reputation of Nostradamus. She is credited with predicting the destruction of the Russian submarine Kursk, which sank in the Barents Sea in 2000. In the US, Arizona has become a major hotspot for UFO sightings, with one former Customs and Border Protection official saying over 100 agents have reported seeing unidentified objects flying over America in recent years. That includes a military fighter plane colliding with an alleged UFO over the US Air Force's Barry Goldwater Range in 2023. Meanwhile, scientists in South America have claimed that they are in possession of both alien bodies and a strange space probe. In Peru, scientists probing 'alien mummies' recently shared new findings that they claim proves the specimens are '100 percent real.' Dozens of these mysterious, mummified bodies were discovered in the Nazca desert by journalist and ufologist Jaime Maussan, sparking years of investigation into their origins. In Colombia, a so-called 'UFO' was spotted in March over the town of Buga, zig-zagging through the sky in a way that defies the movement of conventional aircraft. That same object was allegedly recovered shortly after it landed and has since been analyzed by scientists, who discovered it features three layers of metal-like material and 18 microspheres surrounding a central nucleus they are calling 'a chip.' Dr Jose Luis Velazquez, a radiologist who examined the sphere, reported finding 'no welds or joints,' which would typically provide a clue that humans made it. As for Baba Vanga's prediction, there are still several major sporting event still to come in 2025. Those include tennis Wimbledon championship in July, baseball's World Series in October, and the Formula 1 Championship in December.

The memo itself can be seen in the old pic being held by Brigadier General Roger Ramey, who at the time of the crash was commanding officer of the 8th Air Force in Roswell. Ramey is holding the piece of paper slightly turned away from the camera. But, fortunately, some words can now be read using technology. POLITICAL HOAX He has concluded that the weather balloon story is nothing but a "government hoax" to fob off those intrigued by UFO sightings. "What I discovered is that while [the radar-type] targets were a part of the experiments conducted on the east coast, when they got to New Mexico, they didn't use those targets. "That kind of points the finger at this being a government hoax to explain away the Roswell case.' KEPT SECRET Julie Shuster, Walter Haut's daughter, told SBS News, a broadcaster based in Australia, that she had many conversations with the former Army PR man about the "flying disk" he wrote about in 1947. Advertisement She said before her death in 2015, 'People began to talk about Roswell in the late '70s after several decades of keeping quiet. "I would ask dad to tell me the whole story, and he told me the same thing he told everybody: 'I put out the press release', and nothing else." It was not from this Earth, it was something manufactured off this Earth. It later emerged that Haut had been sworn to secrecy by base commander and close personal friend, Colonel William Blanchard. But, Haut was unhappy about keeping such a big secret, and prepared a signed affidavit to be opened after his death. Advertisement Originally from Chicago, Illinois, he died in Roswell in 2005. 'Basically dad said yes, he did see the bodies, yes he did see the craft and much more than that,' said Shuster. 'At one point I asked him about the size, and he said the craft was about 25 feet in diameter." EGG-SHAPED Thomas Carey, who co-authored a book with Shuster, Witness to Roswell: Unmasking the Government's Biggest Cover-Up, published in 2007, said his big secret "all came out in his sealed statement after he died." 'He described them as being the size of children. A retired cop claimed that he saw the remains of dead aliens being lifted with a crane and hauled away.
