Helen Flanagan slashes £300k off price of her mansion on sale as she hints at move back to Glasgow
Helen Flanagan has listed her former home with ex Celtic star Scott Sinclair on the market but has slashed a whopping £300k off the price.
Helen Flanagan has slashed over £300,000 of the asking price of the huge mansion she previously shared with ex Celtic star Scott Sinclair. The former Coronation Street star listed the six-bedroom property for sale last month with a price of £1.5M
However, the detached, 5,000sqft home, where she used to live with Scott before their break up in 2022, is now on offer for £1,195,000. Helen and Scott, who dated for 13 years and share their three kids together, purchased the property at Belmont, near Bolton in June 2021 for £840,000.
The lavish pad has five reception rooms, six bathrooms and six bedrooms including two en-suites. Not only that, it is situated right on the edge of the moors and boasts 'breathtaking views'. The slash in price for the abode comes as the 34-year-old recently hinted at making a move back to Glasgow after she admitted she was 'heartbroken' over leaving Scotland.
Helen has been very vocal about her love for Glasgow, which she's previously hailed as one of her favourite cities after she and Scott, 36, lived there for over three years during his stint with Celtic FC.
Speaking on the Declutter Hub podcast back in April, she revealed she is looking to downsize her home.
And Scotland could very much be her next move as she added to her Instagram stories shortly after: "It's my happy place. I always feel so much less stressed when I'm there, I just love Scotland. I could live in Scotland, I love it so much and was so heartbroken when we left."
Helen makes regular trips back to Glasgow, with her latest visit being just two months ago with her second born daughter Delilah.
Back in April, Helen asked her Instagram followers: "If you could help me I don't know what to do. I don't have too long in Scotland because I need to get back for Charlie.
"I'm going to see some friends in Glasgow on Sunday, love Glasgow, it's my favourite - well Scotland actually is my favourite place."
"So I'll be in Glasgow Sunday night catching up with friends and Monday morning and then I've always wanted to go to Inverness, just with Delilah, just cute Loch Ness things."
She continued: "It is a disgrace actually that I lived in Scotland for three years and never went.
"Done loads of Loch Lomond and Edinburgh and stuff, but I think because I was living in Glasgow I would often just go to London or go see my parents and wish I explored it more.

"So I'm in-between exploring Inverness or the Isle of Skye, which looks so beautiful, so I need to choose between the two."
The mum-of-three may also be looking for a fresh start after she recently split from ex Robbie Talbot, who she dated for around a year.
The pair reportedly split after realising they wanted "different things" and that their relationship wasn't going to work.

The Gilded Age is back for more more society scandal as it returns tonight
Christine Baranski and Cynthia Nixon star in lavish period drama The Gilded Age, which is returning to Sky tonight with its brand new series after two years off our screens Fasten your corsets, The Gilded Age is back on screen tonight (Mon 23 June, Sky Showcase 9pm), the closest thing we've had to fill the void of Downton Abbey. Created by Lord Julian Fellowes, the genius behind worldwide smash Downton, this New York City-set period drama has all the usual scandal and secrets we've come to expect. Christine Baranski and Cynthia Nixon play sisters Agnes and Ada, rigidly conventional aunts to orphaned Marian (Louisa Jacobson), who came to live with them. Set in the late 19th century, it's a period of immense economic and social change, when empires were built. As season three begins, following the Opera War of 1883, the old guard is weakened and the Russells stand poised to take their place at the head of society. Bertha (Carrie Coon) sets her sights on a prize that would elevate the family to unimaginable heights while George (Morgan Spector) risks everything on a gambit that could revolutionise the railroad industry - if it doesn't ruin him first. Across the street, the Brook household is thrown into chaos as Agnes refuses to accept Ada's new position as lady of the house. Peggy (Denee Benton) meets a handsome doctor from Newport whose family is less than enthusiastic about her career. As all of New York hastens toward the future, their ambition may come at the cost of what they truly hold dear. With lavish locations and costumes, feisty heroines, dowagers and dames, dashing men, class clash, pearl clutching, society gossip, rebellion and upstairs / downstairs drama, this ticks all the boxes for period drama fans. The Gilded Age is airing on Sky Showcase tonight at 9pm. There's plenty more on TV tonight - here's the best of the rest.. DEATH IN THE DESERT: THE NURSE HELEN MYSTERY, CHANNEL 4, 9pm With new evidence finally released, this fascinating documentary pores over the shocking case of a British nurse who died in suspicious circumstances in Saudi Arabia in 1979. Helen Smith, 23, apparently fell from a balcony at an expat party - her body was found on the marbe courtyard outside the block of flats. Foul play was quickly dismissed, but speculation was rife and the case became an international mystery. Was she murdered? Helen's family never believed what they were told. At first they thought Helen had committed suicide - until it emerged that the body of a Dutch tugboat captain, who had allegedly been with Helen just beforehand, was found next to her, impaled on a spiked fence. Now, 45 years on, director Keely Winstone has obtained hundreds of previously classified government documents, revealing what the British government really knew about Helen's tragic death. Helen's brother Graham says: 'We were close. I saw her off at Heathrow. That was the last time I ever saw her.' CELEBRITY PUZZLING, 5, 7pm It's not often you see Carol Vorderman stumbling over an answer, but she is at one point finally stumped in this brand new play-along game show. She is a team captain, with actor Sally Lindsay heading up the other team, while Jeremy Vine takes the hot seat as host. A battle of logic and wordplay, this episode sees Carol joined by Ore Oduba and Sally joined by Gareth Malone. Rounds include In Other Words, where teams must decode two-word answers using only initials and cleverly crafted synonyms. Then it's Thirdle, where stacks of words are missing their third letters, and in Cinema Cypher, film titles are obscured by symbols. Heat Map brings a QWERTY twist, while Funundrum sees teams unscrambling anagrams, and Memory Bank gets the cogs turning. Jeremy says this is 'the most relentless puzzling ever televised'. A bold claim, and not entirely true, but it's certainly an addictive format that will have you shouting answers at the telly. EMMERDALE, ITV1, 7.30pm Assuming Cain knows, Jacob mentions Sarah's IVF. A talented Scottish bartender has beat out competition from across the UK to craft this year's Serve of The 153rd Open, set to take place at Royal Portrush this July. Scott Dunlop (21), from Prestwick triumphed in the contest, hosted by Ben Lomond Gin the Official Gin of The Open, which saw mixologists challenged to craft a unique cocktail that reflected the rich heritage and character of the world's oldest golf championship. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad The champion serve will stand as testament to the iconic Portrush, celebrated through the adventurous spirit of Ben Lomond Gin, and to be enjoyed exclusively by those attending this year's Open. Serve of The Open Scott's winning creation Brambles in the Rough was inspired by his grandmother Helen, who now lives with Alzheimer's. Aged 79 she shared her passion for foraging with Scott during his childhood, when they used to pick brambles along the hedgerows at Old Prestwick Golf Course - the original home of The Open which was first held there in 1860. Scott Dunlop said: 'My grandmother was such an influential figure in my life when I was growing up. We used to pick brambles to make jam. My fingers would be stained purple, and I would have scrapes from the nettles. "She called it character building – I'm not so sure – but they are memories that I will cherish forever, and it is what inspired me to fall in love with bold seasonal flavours. It is true that sometimes in the rough you find something unexpectedly brilliant. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad 'Growing up in Prestwick, golf was always in the background. The town's historic ties to The Open and the sense of tradition it carries really inspired me. Like Portrush, there is this incredible historical connection with golf. Joanne Carlin, Di Stewart, Scott Dunlop and Paula McIntyre 'Brambles in the Rough combines those cherished memories with the wild beauty of Portrush. It is a love letter to the salty sea air and dramatic scenery of the Northern Irish coast, using foraged brambles and finished with a saline mist to evoke the North Atlantic breeze and a meringue garnish to echo the white cliffs.' Scott was crowned winner by an expert panel of judges which included the celebrated Northern Irish chef Paula McIntyre, sports broadcaster Di Stewart and Joanne Carlin, Head of Sponsorships at Ben Lomond Gin. They praised Scott for the care and thought that had gone into the development of the serve, his bold use of flavour and his ability to capture the landscape and the character of Portrush. Scott honed his bartending skills at Scotts in Troon, where he worked for nearly two years before moving to Aberdeen to study Applied Sport and Exercise Science at university. Now Assistant Bar Manager at local institution The Albyn, he is known for his inventive approach to flavour and storytelling through mixology. Scott Dunlop 'To have my cocktail served at The Open, an event I've admired since I was a child, is surreal. It's a pinch-me moment and I know my grandmother would be proud.' John Grieveson, Chief Marketing Officer at Loch Lomond Group, owner of Ben Lomond Gin, said: 'The Open is one of the biggest milestones in our calendar, providing us with a global stage to showcase the adventurous spirit of Ben Lomond Gin. 'To us, a great serve is not just about the ingredients, it's about the story it tells and the feelings it evokes. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad 'With its rugged terrain, rolling dunes, and dramatic coastline, Royal Portrush offers boundless inspiration. Scott's creation captured that perfectly and we are looking forward to sharing Brambles in the Rough with fans at this year's Open.' The Open is the oldest golf tournament in the world and the sport's original championship, which brings together professional players from across the globe to compete for the coveted Claret Jug. This year's championship will be held at Royal Portrush from 13 to 20 July. Visitors to The 153rd Open will have the chance to try Brambles in the Rough at the Ben Lomond Gin garden and the Loch Lomond Whiskies stand.
