Gaza: Civilians killed and injured in Israeli shelling
Ammon News - At least four citizens were killed and others injured on Monday in Israeli shelling of the central and southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources at Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat, central Gaza, reported that they received two slain civilians and 35 injuries as a result of Israeli forces targeting gatherings of citizens waiting for aid on Salah al-Din Street, south of Wadi Gaza.
They added that 16 seriously injured people were shot and transferred to hospitals in the central Gaza Strip.
A citizen was killed when an Israeli helicopter bombed a house in Deir al-Balah refugee camp.
Local sources reported that Israeli drones targeted tents for displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding a number of citizens.
Citizens were also killed and injured when Israeli forces opened fire on people waiting for aid near the distribution center in the Al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah.

The Gaza Civil Defense announced that 51 people were killed since early Tuesday by 'Israeli' army fire, with most casualties occurring near two aid distribution centers in the devastated central and southern parts of Gaza. 'Israeli' forces targeted groups of civilians near the Al-Alam and Al-Shakoush areas in western Rafah as they waited to access an aid center in northwest Rafah, Basal added. He explained that 'Israeli' soldiers opened fire from a military position as thousands of people approached the Al-Shakoush area, about two kilometers from the Rafah aid center. Earlier, Basal said the Civil Defense had transferred at least 21 bodies and over 150 wounded after 'Israeli' troops fired and shelled thousands of civilians near an American aid center between the Al-Shuhada junction (Nitsarim) and Wadi Gaza Bridge in central Gaza. Victims were taken to Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat refugee camp. The 'Israeli' army said it had detected a gathering of civilians near its forces operating in the Nitsarim corridor in central Gaza.
