Diddy's ex-girlfriend ' Jane,' on the witness stand for a third and final day of cross-examination, faced a series of questions about their relationship — including how it played out after he became the subject of a headline-grabbing criminal investigation in 2024.
The key moments:
Jane told jurors she saw positive changes in Diddy after Cassie Ventura, his former partner, filed her November 2023 civil lawsuit alleging physical and sexual abuse. Responding to questions from defense lawyer Teny Geragos, Jane agreed that Diddy became more apologetic and attentive, less egotistical and cold.
Jane was in Miami with Diddy last year when CNN aired hotel security video showing him assaulting Ventura. The witness affirmed the behavior wasn't consistent with the man she knew and, at that time, he had never beaten her. Jane's friends told her to leave Diddy, but she decided to stay, she confirmed.
Diddy and Jane had a violent altercation about a month after the video was released, she testified. They had another brawl last year that began with her pushing his head into a marble countertop, she said. She told jurors she was driven to anger over suspicions that he'd been on a trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands with another woman.
Jane, facing redirect examination by prosecutor Maurene Comey, reiterated how frequently Diddy pushed her for marathon 'hotel nights' even after telling him she wasn't interested: 'All the time.' She cried as she described her jealousy of other women who weren't under the same 'pressure' to constantly fulfill Diddy's sexual desires.

The proceedings got a late start today because Judge Arun Subramanian and the lawyers stepped away for a closed-door meeting to hash out ground rules for Jane's cross-examination. It's not entirely clear what they discussed in the judge's robing room, though the attorneys made cryptic references to some sort of event involving Diddy and Jane.
In other news: In general, Jane came across as firm and composed on her sixth day of testimony, only fighting back tears near the end of the day. Diddy, clad in what appeared to be the same orange sweater and khaki pants he wore yesterday, hugged members of his defense team when he walked into the courtroom this morning.
During an afternoon break, Diddy grabbed tissues and dabbed an eye before heading out of the room. 'It wasn't immediately clear if the defendant was briefly overcome by courtroom drama or a more natural irritant,' NBC News' David K. Li wrote on our live blog.
Tomorrow: 'Jane' is finished testifying. The prosecution team is expected to call another wave of witnesses.

Inside CNN's Anderson Cooper's lavish property empire as enormous salary revealed

Anderson Cooper may be one of the most recognizable faces in the news industry - but he has also been thriving off camera. Because, over the years, the CNN anchor and Vanderbilt heir, 58, has quietly amassed a stunning real estate collection. He now owns a string of homes that span from the heart of Manhattan to the rainforests of Brazil, each with its own architectural charm and backstory. The impressive property portfolio currently includes a restored historic estate in Connecticut, a firehouse home in Greenwich Village and a jungle oasis in Trancoso. Cooper also previously counted two beachside cottages in the Hamptons as part of his empire. And now, fans know just how he affords it all. Cooper is said to be raking in a staggering $18 million a year — meaning the longtime anchor's salary is roughly five times that of Chief White House Correspondent Kaitlan Collins, sources told Puck. From tennis courts and tree‑house suites to hidden TVs and Olympic-sized pools, FEMAIL takes a look inside the homes Anderson Cooper calls his own. Manhattan Firehouse: Greenwich Village, New York City In 2010, Cooper bought a former 1906 FDNY firehouse which was converted into a home for $4.3 million, per Curbed. The house has a string of original details left in tact to add to the charm - including the original brass fire pole and exposed brick walls. 'I'm moving into a new building in New York from 1906, so I'm making a gym from the turn of the century,' Cooper told USA Today in 2011. 'I just bought the old kind of weights with big large balls on the ends. Back then there were gymnasiums, climbing ropes in the ceiling. It's an old firehouse [so] I want it to keep the old firemen's gym.' In 2015, Cooper's home was used as the backdrop for a H&M video campaign with David Beckham and Kevin Hart. The ad showcased further glimpses of the unique property with a peek inside his living room, gym and lavish rooftop. Casa Anderson: Trancoso, Brazil Nestled in the historic coastal village of Trancoso, Bahia, is Cooper's lavish Brazilian bolthole. Cooper first visited the area in 2013 when he immediately fell in love with the vibrant community, lush rainforest and iconic village green known as the Quadrado. 'The first time I came to Trancoso I stepped out onto the Quadrado and fell in love with the place,' he told Conde Nast Traveller in 2016. 'It's a real community: you know your neighbors, you see their kids playing football in the fading light of day, you hear bossa nova drifting from a family-run restaurant nearby. There really is no place like it in the world.' He then purchased one of the lots right on the Quadrado and commissioned Wilbert Das, the former creative director at Diesel and co-owner of Uxua Casa Hotel, to design the compound. However, the cost of the home is unknown. Cooper first visited the area in 2013 when he immediately fell in love with the vibrant community, lush rainforest and iconic village green known as the Quadrado The verdant estate is made up of four separate buildings - all decorated in blues, greens and whites. Palm trees and orchids are planted throughout the grounds including seven types of banana, acai and cacao. The outdoor space also boasts sunbeds, an al fresco bar and a shower in the hollow of a tree trunk. For guests looking to make a splash, the home also boasts a 65-foot teal-colored pool. Cooper's home was previously available to rent from $1,530 a night including breakfast. Rye House: Litchfield, Connecticut In 2014, Cooper purchased his Connecticut estate in Litchfield for somewhere between $5 million and $9 million, per Page Six. The 10,127-square-foot home - called Rye House - has 18 rooms and was built in 1908 by Wilson Eyer, who was the founder of House & Garden magazine. The area is known for being home to the rich and famous. It is even where Oscar winner Meryl Streep and ex-husband Don Gummer raised their four children. The property features original chestnut wood paneling, limestone fireplaces, and a hand-carved marble staircase. The main house - which holds a place on the National Register of Historic Places - has six bedrooms, six full baths and three half-baths. The estate boasts 280-acre grounds complete with Japanese gardens, grape arbor, tennis court and an Olympic-sized swimming pool. The house is close to scenic biking and hiking trails as well as Bantam Lake and Lake Waramaug. Neighboring Beach Cottages: Hamptons, New York Cooper previously purchased two neighboring homes in the quaint town of Quoque, in Hamptons, New York. The first was a traditional Quogue cottage that he snapped up for $1.15 million in 2003. It was originally built in 1946 before the TV host renovated the six-bedroom home with the help of his mother - designer and heiress Gloria Vanderbilt. Talking points about the property include stunning views of Aspatuck Creek, heated pool, chef's kitchen and separate above-garage apartment. Despite its plus points, Cooper sold the cottage for $2.97 million in 2015, per Page Six. Cooper purchased the neighboring property that sat next door for $1.7 million in 2012, per Dan's Papers. It boasted four bedrooms, billiards room, private office above the garage, and another pool and spa setup. However, he also sold the home in 2015 for $2.59 million.

P Diddy's pal Kanye West makes unexpected court appearance

The trial of Sean 'Diddy' Combs has entered its 23rd day at a New York courthouse. Federal agents are being examined as part of the ongoing case. Meanwhile, controversial rapper Kanye West has arrived to show his support for the disgraced star. West entered the courthouse on Friday wearing an all white outfit, while accompanied by two security guards. Diddy, 55, is currently facing a number of serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. He was arrested in September and strongly denies all allegations made against him. He has been in prison since his arrest, and a number of bail requests have been rejected. Diddy's former assistant, Jonathan Perez, is on the stand. He is testifying under an immunity order. Outside of the jury, he invoked the Fifth Amendment, meaning he could testify under immunity, which was granted by Subramanian. Perez is the fourth witness to testify under immunity. Although the jury is currently on a break, prosecutor Maurene Comey mentioned an issue with the judge. During the cross-examination of Special Agent LaMon by the defence, Comey said Diddy was "nodding emphatically" and was also nodding during the cross-examination of his ex-girlfriend, Jane, earlier this week. Comey said even if Diddy was not looking directly at the jury, he shouldn't be nodding in this way. Meanwhile, defence attorney Brian Steel said that Diddy had not been looking at the jury or acting in an unprofessional way. "Mr. Combs did nothing inappropriate at all today or any day, actually," Steel said. Judge Arun Subramanian noted a discussion amongst lawyers last week after Diddy was believed to be trying to interact with the jury. He said that both sides have made the boundaries clear. He said: "There's going to be some amount of reaction to testimony that is given, and it is impossible to police every reaction from every person in this courtroom," adding that any attempts to communicate with the jury would not be allowed. Comey stated that she was not suggesting that Diddy be removed but believed it was inappropriate for him to be nodding while his lawyer asked a witness a question. Defence attorney Marc Agnifilo cross-examined Special Agent Andre LaMon who had been testifying about his involvement in the Homeland Security Investigations following the search on Diddy's LA home in March 2024. When quizzed, LaMon said he was aware that a security detail protected Diddy's home and there was a security room where the firearms had been discovered. No guns or ammunition were found anywhere else on the property. Diddy's friend and rapper Kanye West has arrived at court. He emerged from a black Maybach outside the courthouse on Friday, which is day 23 of Combs' trial. He was accompanied by two security guards and shook hands with members of the public as he was escorted inside.

Former NFL star Antonio Brown wanted on attempted murder charge in Miami

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown is wanted on an attempted murder charge in Miami, according to an arrest warrant. The warrant, signed by a judge Wednesday and provided by the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, lists the charges as attempted second degree murder with a $10,000 bond. Brown did not immediately respond to an NBC News request for comment. It is not clear if he has a lawyer. The charge stems from a May 16 incident outside of an amateur boxing event in the Little Haiti neighborhood of Miami, where videos circulating online appeared to show Brown in a melee where gunshots could be heard. According to the warrant for Brown's arrest, Florida Highway Patrol officers were working off-duty as security for the boxing event when several people approached a lieutenant with reports of hearing gunshots outside. Multiple witnesses identified Brown as the shooter, the warrant states, who was patted down and detained. Brown, 36, was not armed at the time. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout then posted on X the next morning, stating he was not arrested and was the victim in the attack. 'I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me. Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me,' Brown wrote. But after reviewing security footage the following day, officers identified Brown as punching another man, sparking three other individuals to join the fight, according to the warrant. The footage then allegedly showed Brown taking the firearm of a security officer and approaching the man he had punched. Cell phone video captured two shots fired, with the man Brown attacked "ducking" after the first shot was heard, the warrant states. During their investigation, officers found two spent shell casings and an empty firearm holster at the scene. In an interview with authorities, the man who was allegedly attacked stated he had known Brown since 2022 and positively identified him as the person who shot at him, grazing his neck, according to the warrant. The man had visible injuries and was treated at the hospital the night of the incident. The 36-year-old Brown has faced multiple run-ins with authorities over the years and throughout his 12-year career in the NFL, much of which was spent with the Pittsburgh Steelers following his 2010 draft. Brown was released from the New England Patriots after one game in 2019 amid sexual assault allegations made by a former trainer, a lawsuit that was ultimately settled in 2021. Brown denied the allegations. Brown was then signed by the Buccaneers, where he played for two seasons, during which he faced a three-game suspension for faking his Covid-19 vaccination status. His life off the field continued to stir controversy as Brown landed himself on probation for attacking a truck driver in Hollywood, Florida in 2020. In late 2021, Brown ended his NFL career in a dramatic fashion, puling off his jersey and walking off the field at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey before the end of Tampa Bay's game against the New York Jets.
