Halle Berry's boyfriend on actor's response to marriage proposal
Van Hunt proposed to Halle Berry, but she has not accepted yet, revealing this during a joint interview with Today.com.
Berry, who has been married three times previously, stated that she does not feel the need to marry Hunt to validate their love, though she believes they will eventually marry because she feels he is the person she should have married.
Berry was previously married to Oliver Martinez, David Justice, and Eric Benét, and she shares a son with Martinez and a daughter with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
Berry said her friends and family are happy to see her in a loving relationship with Hunt, whom she considers her best friend.
Since making their relationship public in 2020, Berry has expressed that her relationship with Hunt is different from her previous partners because he "showed up" for her without her trying to manipulate the relationship.
