Four Palestinians were also martyred and others wounded on Monday afternoon when Israeli enemy warplanes bombed tents for displaced people near al-Hidaya Mosque in al-Qarara area, northwest of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. In continuation of the massacres committed by the Zionist enemy forces against starving Palestinians near so-called "aid distribution centers," 13 Palestinians were killed and others wounded by Israeli army fire today, Monday. Ten starving Palestinians were martyred near an aid distribution center northwest of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, Al-Awda Hospital in al-Nuseirat announced that it received two martyrs and 35 wounded as a result of the Zionist enemy targeting gatherings of citizens waiting for aid on Salah al-Din Street, south of the Wadi Gaza area in the central Gaza Strip. The hospital noted that among the wounded were 16 critical cases that were transferred to hospitals in the central Gaza Strip. A source at Nasser Hospital announced that at least one citizen was martyred and others waiting for aid were wounded by Israeli army fire south of Khan Yunis. Earlier on Monday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health stated in a statement that the death toll from aid centers arriving at hospitals over the past 24 hours had reached 17, with more than 136 injured. Israel Intercepts Missile Amid Iranian Confirmation of Launch from Yemen
Israeli military announced the interception of a missile early Monday, initially believed to have been launched from Iran. However, Iranian state media later confirmed that the missile had in fact been fired from Yemeni territory, adding a new layer of complexity to the ongoing regional conflict. The missile was intercepted before breaching Israeli airspace, triggering air raid sirens across central Israel and prompting temporary lockdowns in several cities. IDF stated that the projectile was neutralized by its multi-layered air defense system, without causing any casualties or damage. Iran's confirmation that the missile originated from Yemen aligns with previous threats issued by Houthi forces, who have vowed to expand their attacks in response to Israeli military actions in Gaza. Houthis claimed responsibility for multiple missile and drone attacks targeting Israel and U.S. naval assets in the Red Sea since late 2023. This latest incident comes amid a broader escalation following U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure, prompting fears of a wider regional war.
