Billy Idol addresses ‘promiscuous' past
The 69-year-old punk rock singer recently discovered he had a secret son named Brant who was born in the 1980s. He discovered the unexpected news when a genealogy test connected a member of his family to Brant, who was looking to track down his biological father. On Tuesday, editors at Deadline reported that Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Nicole Newnham is working on a project about the late Hollywood legend for Netflix. According to a press release, the film will chronicle Newton-John's childhood in England and Australia as well as her early pursuit of a career in the music industry.
