Khloé Kardashian hates calling Kendall and Kylie Jenner her ‘half-sisters'

Miami Herald13-03-2025

In a new podcast episode, reality TV star Khloé Kardashian and her mom, Kris Jenner, discussed co-parenting and their family dynamics.
During the Thursday, March 13, episode of her 'Khloé In Wonder Land' podcast, Khloé Kardashian told Kris Jenner that she hates when people refer to her sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, as her half-sisters.
Kris Jenner is mom to Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Robert Kardashian with her first husband, the late Robert Kardashian.
The 69-year-old is also mom to Kendall and Kylie Jenner, whom she shares with her second former spouse, Caitlyn Jenner.
'I absolutely despise when people call Kendall and Kylie our half-sisters,' Khloé Kardashian told Kris Jenner, who was surprised by her daughter's admission.
'Because I'm like, 'No, those are my real sisters.' I was born and raised with them. Spent every minute with them, and so I really find that insulting when people say that about us. So I don't like that term. None of us like that term,' Khloé Kardashian continued.
'I don't even think about that term,' Kris Jenner admitted. 'We don't use that term.'
Khloé Kardashian says she doesn't hate much, but she hates when people 'recognize the divide' between her and Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
Khloé Kardashian said her disdain for the term half-siblings comes from her parents blending their families so well.
In fact, she said it was how Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian co-parented before his death that gave her the blueprint to create a successful co-parenting relationship with the father of her own children, NBA player Tristan Thompson.
'I know from my personal experience with Tristan and how we're such good co-parenters because of the example that I've had my whole life from you and my dad's dynamic, and Bruce and my dad's dynamic,' Khloé Kardashian explained.
'It's all I saw. So for me, it was a no brainer,' she continued. 'And I do really think that, yes, you don't need that example. You can do it on your own, but when you have that example, it's all you know, and it's just embedded in you, and it's so easy.'
As result, Khloé Kardashian said it's 'so peaceful for my children.'
'Peaceful is a great, important, powerful word,' Kris Jenner continued. 'My job as a mom was to make sure you were safe and you felt loved and secure in a really special place, and that was the most important thing to me.'
But because she and Robert Kardashian were connected forever because they had children together, Kris Jenner said it was important for them to continue to share the big moments even though they were no longer married.
Eventually, Robert Kardashian became known to Kendall and Kylie Jenner as Uncle Robert.
Khloé Kardashian added that she wishes more 'people would put their own ego and issues aside for the betterment of children, because it makes such a difference in the long run.'

Former NBA All-Star Vows to Stop Talking About Angel Reese After Recent Viral Video originally appeared on Athlon Sports. With the fandom of the WNBA skyrocketing over the past couple of seasons, there has also been an increase in the amount of critics who have begun following the 29-year old professional league. Advertisement While players all over the league have felt the wrath of social media warriors who find it fun to antagonize athletes, there may not be a player in the league who is on the receiving end of more mockery, than Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese. The No. 7 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft who was named an WNBA All-Star as a rookie has frequently drawn comparisons to draft classmate and college foe, Caitlin Clark. While they are both great players in their own right, Clark's game is heavily centered around her offensive abilities while Reese is more known for her rebounding. As a result of this, Reese's offensive limitations have been frequently on display. Whether it's a group of fans routinely betting on her to miss her first shot of every game, or a video of her missing contested put-backs at practice amassing 370,000 views, fans have not been shy at poking fun of her struggles. It has gotten to the point where former NBA All-Star and host of "Club 520," Jeff Teague, has decided he won't talk about Reese anymore on his show. Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese (5) looks on during a Lee-Imagn Images On a recent episode of his podcast, Teague's co-hosts went to mock Reese for the aforementioned layup video during a segment titled "Get Well Soon." While the crew around him was laughing, Teague, who was a part of the Milwaukee Bucks' 2021 title team, shut it down. Advertisement "Man she missing in practice," Teague asked. "Turn this bro. Turn this off y'all. We not doing that. We is it off this is the last thing I'm gonna do. We not talking about Angel Reese no it's in a positive light. "Y'all keep making fun of her," Teague said. "People gonna think we got a problem with her and we don't." Following the Sky's blowout loss to the Fever on Saturday, which saw her grab 12 rebounds while scoring four points, Reese's career rebounds total (532) has now surpassed her career points total (526). She and the Sky will have a chance to bounce back on Tuesday against the New York Liberty. NBA Fans React to Latest Victor Wembanyama Update

NBA Fans React to Latest Victor Wembanyama Update originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Victor Wembanyama, even before he entered the NBA, has been one of the most grounded athletes in the world. He makes time to meditate, do yoga, and read, specifically science fiction. Advertisement This summer, as he prepares for his third NBA season and the possibility of representing France at EuroBasket, he has vacationed in both Costa Rica and China, and was spotted at a Shaolin temple with a shaved head, dining with the monks. Of course, fans reacted to the news with amusement, curiosity, and concern for the rest of the NBA. If he can become deeply meditative and reflective, he will have another mental advantage over his opponents. "Wemby about to average 40," posted Jemele Hill. "This mf Wemby had one freak injury stop him from making the playoffs and went on the Doctor Strange path," added another fan. Advertisement "Wemby's mindset is similar to that of Kareem's," chimed in a third. Wembanyama, physically, has been compared to Kevin Durant, Hakeem Olajuwon, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Mark Eaton. Mentally, it seems like he is incomparable to anyone, although Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is known as one of the more grounded stars of his generation, focused purely on winning throughout his career. While it's unclear how much time Wemby will spend with the monks, it's safe to say that his game next season will be rooted in ruthless effecency and leaving everything on the court. The NBA, clearly, has never had a superstar quite like him before. Advertisement Check out the Inside the Spurs home page for more news, analysis, and must-read articles.
