Sudeep Pharma files DRHP with Sebi for IPO, plans major capex expansion
Upcoming IPO: Sudeep Pharma, a manufacturer of excipients and speciality ingredients for the pharmaceutical, food and nutrition industries, has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the markets regulator, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for its maiden public issue.
The Gujarat-based tech company's IPO, with a face value of ₹1 per equity share consists of a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating to ₹95 crore, and an offer for sale (OFS) of 10.07 million equity shares by existing shareholders.

The OFS comprises up to 3.56 million equity shares by Sujit Jaysukh Bhayani, up to 5 million equity shares by Sujeet Jaysukh Bhayani HUF, up to 7,50,000 million equity shares by Shanil Sujit Bhayani, and up to 7,54,200 equity shares by Avani Sujit Bhayani.
According to the DRHP, the offer is being made through the book-building process. The company has reserved not more than 50 per cent of the offer for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), not less than 15 per cent for non-institutional bidders, and not less than 35 per cent for retail individual bidders.
From the net issue proceeds the company intends to use ₹75.81 crore for capital expenditure towards procurement of machinery for its production line located at Nandesari Facility I, as well as, general corporate purposes, as per the DRHP.
MUFG Intime India, formerly Link Intime, is the registrar for the issue. ICICI Securities and IIFL Capital Services are the book-running lead managers.

Globe Civil Projects IPO subscribed 15.26 times
The offer received bids for 17.90 crore shares as against 1.71 crore shares on offer. The initial public offer of Globe Civil Projects received bids for 17,90,07,336 shares as against 1,17,32,392 shares on offer, according to stock exchange data at 17:00 IST on Wednesday (25 June 2025). The issue was subscribed 15.26 times. The issue opened for bidding on 24 June 2025 and it will close on 26 June 2025. The price band of the IPO is fixed between Rs 67 and 71 per share. An investor can bid for a minimum of 211 equity shares and in multiples thereof. The public issue comprises entirely of a fresh issue of up to 1,67,60,560 equity shares of a face value of Rs 10 per equity share. Of the net proceeds from the fresh issue, Rs 75 crore will be used to fund working capital requirements, and Rs 14.255 crore will go towards capital expenditure on the purchase of construction equipment/machinery. The balance is for general corporate expenses. Global Civil Projects, promoted by Ved Prakash Khurana, Nipun Khurana, and Vipul Khurana, is a New Delhi-based integrated EPC company engaged in transport, social, and commercial infrastructure construction. With a strong presence in educational and railway infrastructure, it has completed 37 projects across 11 states and is currently executing 13 projects. As of March 31, 2025, its order book stood at Rs 669.10 crore. The company also operates through joint ventures and derives a major share of revenue from government clients like the CPWD. Ahead of the IPO, Globe Civil Projects on Monday, 23 June 2025, raised Rs 35.69 crore from anchor investors. The board allotted 50.28 lakh shares at Rs 71 each to 6 anchor investors. The firm reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 17.79 crore and total income of Rs 254.66 crore for the nine months ended on 31 December 2024.

Govt. committed to promote cottage industries for generating large scale employment: Deputy Chief Minister
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has announced the State government's resolve to actively promote cottage industries which can generate large scale employment and help in income generation for the aspiring sections. The government is firm that goods produced by artisans and traditional craftsmen were of immense utility to society. The Minister was speaking after inaugurating stalls set up as part of exhibition and sale of BC artisans handmade products under the aegis of the BC Welfare department here on Wednesday. He said the government was committed to encouraging handmade products as part of building a healthy Telangana. The Minister went round the exhibition featuring products made by different cottage industries not only from the State Capital but also from different districts. The exhibition showcasing clay utensils made by potters, bamboo products by Medari artisans, beadwork items, and handloom products from Pochampally, Gadwal, and Narayanpet will be open till June 29. Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka interacted with artisans who put up stalls, including the Goud community members, who put up Neera-based products on display. The Deputy Chief Minister appealed to the people to visit the exhibition, purchase eco-friendly and health-beneficial products so as to support traditional artisans. The government on its part was allocating dedicated funds with special focus on corporations of backward classes for the upliftment of the community. Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka, accompanied by Ministers Ponnam Prabhalar and Vakiti Srihari tasted the dishes prepared by the fishermen community members as part of their visit to the exhibition.

Cabinet approves establishment of International Potato Center's South Asia regional centre at Agra
The Centre on Wednesday cleared a proposal to set up a regional centre of the Peru-based International Potato Center (CIP)— a premier research-for-development organisation founded in 1971 with a focus on potato and sweet potato—in India. The CIP-South Asia Regional Centre (CSARC) will come up at Singna in Agra and will not only serve farmers in states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal but also cater to South Asian countries. The cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved a proposal from the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare to establish the CSARC. 'The major objective of this investment is to increase food and nutrition security, farmers income, and job creation by improving potato and sweet potato productivity, post-harvest management and value-addition,' said an official statement issued after the cabinet meeting. 'The potato sector in India has the potential to generate significant employment opportunities in production sector, processing sector, packaging, transportation, marketing, value chain, etc. Hence, in order to untap and explore the huge potential in this sector, International Potato Centre (CIP)'s south Asia regional Centre is being established at Singna, Agra, Uttar Pradesh. High-yielding, nutrient and climate-resilient varieties of potato and sweet potato developed by CSARC will significantly accelerate the sustainable development of the potato and sweet potato sectors not only in India but in the South Asia region also through world-class science and innovation,' the statement added. The decision follows a letter Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote to Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan six months ago demanding the early establishment of a CIP regional centre in Agra. An agriculture ministry delegation led by Agriculture Secretary Devesh Chaturvedi visited Peru recently. Potatoes are native to the Peruvian-Bolivian Andes in South America. The entire project, to come up on 10 hectares of land provided by the UP government, will cost $20 million (about Rs 160 crore), of which India will contribute $13 million and the CIP $7 million, according to sources. The CSARC will focus on the development of new varieties that are climate-resilient, disease-free, and suitable for processing, the sources added. China set up a similar CIP centre, known as the China Center for Asia Pacific, in Yanqing, Beijing in 2017. It serves the entire East Asia and the Pacific region. The CSARC will be the second major international agricultural research institution to set up operations in India, The regional centre of the Philippines-based International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), established in Varanasi, was the first. Two centres of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) work on tuber crops–the Shimla-based ICAR-CPRI (Central Potato Research Institute) working on potatoes and the Thiruvananthapuram-based ICAR-CTCRI (Central Tuber Crops Research Institute) working on sweet potato. India ranks number two in potato production and consumption, after China. In 2020, China produced 78.24 million tonnes of potatoes and India 51.30 million tonnes of the crop, together accounting for over one-third of the global production of 359.07 million tonnes. Uttar Pradesh (15 million tonnes), West Bengal (15 million tonnes), and Bihar (9 million tonnes) were the top three potato producers in India in 2020-21. Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab also produce significant amounts of potatoes.
