Blake Lively offers to do FUNERAL arrangements for fans in bizarre It Ends With Us themed post amid lawsuit

Daily Maila day ago

Blake Lively left fans perplexed over her latest social media post as she playfully offered her floral arranging services to fans amid her legal war with Justin Baldoni.
Although she has certainly had her hands full navigating her ongoing lawsuit against her former It Ends with Us costar, 41, the Gossip Girl star, 37, took a much-needed break from defending herself to show off one of her many talents.
'My flowers babies, from seeds, to cutting, to arrangement,' she wrote on her Instagram Story, alongside an innocuous picture of peonies and Russian sage placed into a vase on her dining room table.
In a bizarre move, the mother-of-four, who has an estimated personal net worth of $30 million, joked that she was open for business to create floral arrangements for her followers' 'next graduation, funeral or wedding.'
During her press tour for It Ends With Us last year, in which she a florist named Lily Bloom, Lively shared her love for floristry as a form of 'straight-up peace' to her.
Prior to filing her sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni, who denies all her claims, the Another Simple Favor actress admitted she's 'always thought' of herself as a florist, well before playing one.
'I buy corner store flowers, take them home, reassemble them & give them new life,' she revealed on Instagram. 'Ever since I moved to the city at 19, that's been one of my creative and meditative anchors. It's design, it's interacting with nature, it's a multi sensory joy.'
She continued: 'Whenever I get the opportunity to garden from scratch and assemble fresh arrangements, I feel like the luckiest person on the planet. It's straight up peace. No there's no joke coming. Just me being earnest about flowers. Ugh pure sincerity. I hate it here.'
In an interview with People last August, Lively also reflected on how flowers played a meaningful part in how her husband Ryan Reynolds wooed her.
'When my husband and I first got together, he would send me a bouquet of flowers every week but he would always send a card and it would just be a sentence of something that had happened that week. Something funny or emotional that one of us said,' she gushed. ''It was just a little quote of the week. It was such a beautiful, romantic thing.'
Lively and Reynolds first met on the set of The Green Lantern in 2010 and exchanged vows in 2012.
They're the proud parents of three girls James, 10, Betty, 8, and Inez, 5, and one son - Olin, 2.
Her latest post comes just days after suffered another courtroom blow in her ongoing legal battle with Baldoni.
Earlier this week, a New York judge threw a curveball in her attempt to withdraw her 'emotional distress' claims against the actor
Court filings obtained by the Daily Mail reveal the two parties had been slugging it out over the actress's claims that her co-star had caused her emotional distress, with Baldoni's team demanding she provide proof from her medical records.
Lively's team instead then attempted to quietly drop that element from her blockbuster lawsuit on Friday but, critically, without prejudice – meaning the claim could be refiled at a later date.
She also filed a motion on Monday to block Baldoni's request for her medical records arguing that she voluntarily sought to withdraw the claim in 'good faith to streamline the dispute'.
On Tuesday, Judge Lewis Liman agreed to deny Baldoni's motion based on Lively's decision to drop the claims, however, he also ruled that both sides will now have to negotiate whether her emotional distress element will be dismissed from the case permanently.
In another blow, Judge Liman said even if the claims are not dismissed, Lively's team will no longer be able to produce evidence of emotional distress in court.
The 24-hour legal spat has already seen claims and counterclaims traded by both sides, with Baldoni's team saying Lively is trying to 'have it both ways'.
On Monday, legal representatives for Lively hit back with a furious statement accusing Baldoni of orchestrating a 'press stunt' and saying they had offered to drop the emotional distress claims in 'good faith.'
In a statement released to the Daily Mail, attorneys Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb said: 'Once again this is a routine part of the litigation process that is being used as a press stunt.
'We are doing what trial lawyers do: preparing our case for trial by streamlining and focusing it; they are doing what they do: desperately seeking another tired round of tabloid coverage.
'The Baldoni-Wayfarer strategy of filing retaliatory claims has exposed them to expansive new damages claims under California law, rendering certain of Ms. Lively's original claims no longer necessary.
'Ms. Lively continues to allege emotional distress, as part of numerous other claims in her lawsuit, such as sexual harassment and retaliation, and massive additional compensatory damages on all of her claims.'
Then, in a fiery letter obtained by the Daily Mail, Gottleib and Hudson attempted to have Baldoni's motion to compel medical records dismissed, arguing it was based on 'two brazenly false assertions.'
But that move failed thanks to Judge Liman, with Lively's emotional distress claims now off the table.
Despite the win, Baldoni will still have to defend himself over her other claims which include sexual harassment and the orchestration of a smear campaign against her.
The 41-year-old is also pursuing a $400million countersuit of his own that also claims defamation and accuses the glamorous blonde of damaging his reputation and career.
The legal spat has produced months of negative headlines for Lively who has also had to look on as her friendship with superstar bestie Taylor Swift deteriorates in public, largely due to the singer's fury at being dragged into the case.
Last month, the singer found herself on the receiving end of a now withdrawn subpoena and in the middle of a row over whether Lively had tried to force her to issue a supportive message by threatening to release a decade's worth of text messages.
The former provoked a stinging response from her rep who said the megastar had had nothing to do with It Ends With Us beyond providing a song for the soundtrack.
The statement read: 'Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history.'
Her spokesperson added: 'The connection Taylor had to this film was permitting the use of one song, 'My Tears Ricochet.
'Given that her involvement was licensing a song for the film, which 19 other artists also did, this document subpoena is designed to use Taylor Swift's name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case.'

Sir Rod Stewart 'devastated' after cancelling more US concerts as he recovers from flu

Sir Rod Stewart says he is devastated to have to cancel a series of US concerts, blaming lingering flu for the decision. It affects four shows in Nevada, along with a further two in California, which he plans to reschedule. They were due to take place over the next eight days. "So sorry my friends. I'm devastated and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to my fans. I'll be back on stage and will see you soon," he wrote in a message on Instagram. Sir Rod, 80, has been struggling to recover from flu and this week had already cancelled two concerts at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. On Wednesday, he disclosed that his doctor had "ordered" him to take "a bit more rest". The star is in the midst of his epic One Last Time Tour. Sir Rod, who was recently put on vocal rest, is due to play the legends slot at Glastonbury later this month. In May, he was presented with a lifetime achievement award at the American Music Awards (AMAs). In a sign of how seriously the singer takes his health, last month he was also spotted in Italy attempting to avoid conversations to preserve his voice. He wore a message attached to a lanyard which read: "Sorry. Cannot talk. Having vocal rest." In 2024, he promised he would not retire but confirmed his 2025 European and North American shows would bring an end to his "large-scale world tours". The performer, best known for songs including Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?, Every Beat Of My Heart, and Maggie May, said he plans to focus on more intimate venues instead. Sir Rod has faced other health challenges in the past. In May 2000, he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and had surgery. In 2017, he underwent successful treatment for prostate cancer.

Kris Jenner looked younger than ever as she stepped out for dinner at the celebrity hotspot Nobu in Malibu on Friday. The momager, 69 - who recently sparked speculation about having gotten another facelift - showed off her latest look while chatting with a close friend outside of the restaurant. Just one day earlier, her daughter Kim Kardashian was also seen stopping by the popular eatery with her eldest daughter North - who debuted a shocking new hair color. Jenner put on a stylish display wearing a pair of black leather pants as well as a black Prada jacket that contained shiny floral embellishments on the material. The reality star also opted for a pair of black shades while her short dark locks were partially pulled back away from her face. A warm blush was added to her cheekbones for a radiant glow while a nude-colored tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch. The momager - who recently sparked speculation about having gotten another facelift - showed off her latest look while chatting with a close friend outside of the restaurant Kris was spotted mingling outside of Nobu as she held a conversation with a pal who had joined her to grab a bite to eat. The latest outing comes just weeks after the momager first sparked plastic surgery rumors last month in May when fans had mistaken her for daughter Kim. At the time, hairstylist Chris Appleton - who has worked with the Kardashian/Jenner family for years - uploaded Instagram photos of the reality star from her recent trip in Paris. In one image, Kris flashed a small smile for the camera as she donned a black velvet dress while her locks were swept up into a chic up do. Fans jumped to the comment section of his post to share their thoughts over Jenner's youthful appearance. One penned, 'I thought that was Kim posing as Kris at first… for the first photo,' while another typed, 'Thought that was Kim! She looks INCREDIBLE.' 'She definitely saw Lindsey Lohan's surgeon!! That facelift did her some good justice,' a social media user shared, and one added, 'Their surgeon is pretty good I have to say. She looks bomb.' Lohan has also ignited speculation about her changing face this year - with some suggesting she may have also gotten surgery. However in May, the Freaky Friday actress said her radiant appearance was due to wellness and skincare. The reality star also opted for a pair of black shades while her short dark locks were partially pulled back away from her face The latest outing comes just weeks after the momager first sparked plastic surgery rumors last month in May when fans had mistaken her for daughter Kim Kris later shared pictures of her own from her time in Paris - where she traveled to in order to support her daughter Kim for her jewelry heist trial and Lauren Sánchez's bachelorette bash. In one snap, the media personality looked fashionable in a dark gray top as well as a fitted pencil skirt. She struck a pose for the camera while holding a skateboard in her hand for the lighthearted photo. In additional images, Jenner could be seen posing with other celebrities such as Katy Perry, Lauren Sánchez and Kim. Fans once again gushed over the momager's new transformation, with one penning, 'The best FACELIFT EVER.' 'Kris Jenner: Reborn 2025,' another wrote while one commented, 'Looking more like one of the Kardashian sisters rather than the matriarch! Beautiful!' Jenner's rep also confirmed to that Kris has seen celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Steven M. Levine - who is known as the 'facelift maestro.' A source also exclusively told that Jenner has lost weight by stating, 'Kris is no longer a size 10 so she has no need for those clothes, she is a size 6 these days and thrilled about it. It's the same size that she was in the 1980s. 'Her closet is completely different now - the items are so much smaller - and it makes her very happy to get back to the body that she had in her younger years.' Earlier this week, Kim commented on her mother's new look by reposting a snap to her Instagram stories. The image was of her longtime hairstylist Chris Appleton donning a shirt that had 'I'll have what Kris Jenner is having' printed on the front. Along with sharing the picture to her own account, the SKIMS founder added the message, '@chrisappleton1 me too babe.' Back in 2011, Kris notably underwent a facelift which was done by Dr. Garth Fisher - the same doctor who performed Kylie Jenner's breast augmentation in 2019. Jenner has previously gotten other procedures in the past as well, such as Botox and a breast augmentation in the 1980s. In 2018, she had earlobe reduction surgery and a few years later in 2022 the star had a 'very scary' hip replacement procedure. During an episode of The Kardashians at the time, Jenner said of getting the hip replacement: 'It reminds me of somebody older than I feel on the inside and somebody who is going to have challenges for the rest of her life. This is serious.' Following the surgery, she admitted that it had been 'painful' but was still 'feeling pretty good.' Kris added, 'I am determined to live again without this pain. Me and my family have so many exciting things going on that I don't wanna miss a thing.' But when it comes to her recent facelift, one plastic surgeon named Dr. Gary Lawton suggested on Instagram that her new look was due to AI rather than plastic surgery.

Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin wails in court as he comes face to face with wife who tried to kill him

Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin broke down in court as his estranged wife was sentenced for plotting his murder in a chilling murder-for-hire scheme. On Wednesday, a Nevada judge sentenced Victoria Goodwin, 32, to 36 to 90 months in prison after she pleaded guilty to conspiring to have her husband killed while he was on a filming trip in California. Court documents revealed that Victoria contacted Florida inmate Grant Amato - who is serving a life sentence for murdering his parents and brother - and offered him $11,500 to carry out the hit, with a $2,500 down payment already made. But, her devious plan unraveled when prison authorities seized Amato's phone and discovered disturbing communications between him and Victoria. Investigators said she instructed him to make Aaron's death look like an accident and provided detailed information about his travel plans and routines. At her sentencing, Victoria apologized to Aaron, saying she would 'always hold love for him' and promised he would 'never be in danger of her again.' Aaron, 49, wept as he described the betrayal of discovering that the 'love of his life' had not only cheated on him but had tried to have him killed. 'For seven years I thought I was in the most loving relationship of marriage with my best friend, someone who I trusted with my whole heart and laughed with every day,' the paranormal investigator said. Failing to hold back tears, he said after he found out his then-wife was 'cheating on him with several men,' he gave her options for a path forward. One option was divorce and another was 'trying to work things out' because he just 'loves her so much.' Aaron went on to recount how Victoria initially expressed regret and begged not to lose him. 'She didn't want to lose me,' he recalled. 'She was so sorry for the pain she caused me. At least that's what she told me.' He then revealed the extent of her betrayal. 'Now discovering she put a hit out to kill me more than once, got blackmailed, and spent almost our entire savings to keep it quiet.' He also told the court that Victoria had even 'got spiritually married' to the man she enlisted to kill him. In his emotional statement, Aaron said the experience has left him deeply scarred and in constant fear for his life. 'This has led me to fear for my life. I've hired armed security for weeks, not knowing if it was over or not,' he said. 'I cry every day, I feel so low. She grew me into a person I never was. I will always wonder why.' He accused Victoria of attempting to keep him from speaking at the sentencing, claiming he only learned of the murder plot when detectives informed him. 'Now, behind bars, she's trying to manipulate through lawyers and trying to silence me to not come here today,' he said. The murder plot was set to unfold in October 2024 while Aaron was filming Ghost Adventures in California. The show follows Aaron and three other men as they explore reportedly haunted locations and investigate paranormal activity. Prosecutors cited chilling messages recovered from Amato's phone. One message from Amato to a hitman read: 'He's asleep right now in the hotel room… I need to know what's going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?' In another message, Victoria wrote to Amato: 'Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.' When questioned by authorities, Victoria claimed she first learned about Amato through a true crime documentary and began corresponding with him. She described their relationship as 'pen pals' and admitted that she and Aaron had been experiencing marital problems, which led her to 'connect' with Amato. According to divorce documents obtained by Court TV, Aaron and Victoria married in May 2020. Following her arrest, Aaron filed for divorce on March 12, stating: 'The views, tastes, likes, and dislikes of Husband and Wife have become incompatible to the extent that it has become impossible for them to live together as husband and wife in marital harmony. There is no possibility of reconciliation between Husband and Wife.'
