Texas A&M's will host an elite group of 2026 prospects during Saturday's spring game
Texas A&M's 2026 class will be well-represented during the Aggies' Maroon & White spring game on Saturday afternoon, as coach Mike Elko and his staff will host 15 prospects, led by five-star OL/DL Lamar Brown, and five-star wide receiver Ethan "Boobie" Feaster, as both players will take official visits to College Station in early June.
Elko and his staff are focused on getting through Saturday's game healthy while progressing in several areas on both sides of the ball. For the prospects in attendance, watching the Aggies play is the best recruiting tool a coach possesses. Next to live action during the season, attempting to sway elite prospects like Brown and Feaster starts with letting them watch the current Aggie roster in action, even if it's a controlled scrimmage.
On Friday, 2026 four-star safety Jett Washington and 2027 four-star offensive tackle Jake Hildebrand made their way to College Station just a day after hosting 2026 four-star tight end Evan Jacobson and 2027 four-star LB Cooper Witten, son of future Hall of Fame TE Jason Witten.
Here is the complete list of all 14 2026 and one 2027 prospect who will attend the spring game on Saturday.
2027 four-star CB Jacob Whitehead (CA)
2026 four-star DL and Texas A&M commit Jermaine Kinsler (NJ)
2026 three-star CB Camren Hamiel (AZ)
2026 four-star CB Jordan Thomas (NJ)
2026 four-star Edge Tristian Givens (GA)
2026 three-star TE Luke Sorenson (CA)
2026 four-star Edge KJ Ford (TX)
2026 four-star Edge Jamarion Carlton (TX)
2026 four-star DL Nolan Wilson (MS)
2026 four-star WR Ethan "Boobie" Feaster (TX)
2026 four-star DL Damari Simeon (NJ)
2026 four-star LB Tank King (TX)
2026 four-star WR and Texas A&M commit Madden Williams (CA)
2026 five-star OL/DL Lamar Brown (LA)
Texas A&M's Maroon & White spring game will be held at Kyle Field on Saturday, April 19. It will be streamed on SEC Network+.

Baltimore Ravens rookie LaJohntay Wester receiving one-on-one coaching from John Harbaugh

AI-assisted summary Former Colorado wide receiver LaJohntay Wester, a sixth-round NFL draft pick by the Baltimore Ravens, is impressing coaches with his special-teams play. Wester has been working closely with Ravens head coach John Harbaugh on improving his punt return skills during OTAs and minicamp. While primarily drafted for special teams, Wester's performance and coaching interactions could lead to a larger offensive role. Wester's impressive punt return statistics at Florida Atlantic earned him the AAC Special Teams Player of the Year in 2023. While most eyes have been on former Colorado stars Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter through the NFL's offseason programs, a few Buffs have gone under the radar, including the speedy receiver LaJohntay Wester. Wester was selected in the sixth round of the NFL draft and is expected to be an immediate playmaker on special teams, making his transition to the pros promising. With this combination of size and explosiveness, along with his toughness, Wester has been turning heads throughout OTAs and minicamp, even getting some one-on-one coaching from Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh. Harbaugh was spotted giving some advice to Wester that should help tune his return skills. The two spoke during drills, with Harbaugh coaching Wester on ball-tracking skills and drills he can use to improve his technique. Wester went on to implement those drills, improving with each punt he caught. In his lone season at Colorado, Wester had nine punt returns, with a 76-yard return against Utah, and averaged 12 yards per return. In his time with Florida Atlantic, however, he had carved out a role as a special teamer, returning 14 punts for 278 yards and one touchdown in 2023, earning him the American Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Year. Though he is pegged as a special-teams contributor, his performance and rapport with Harbaugh could give him a broader role. Wester will still need to prove himself on Baltimore's special teams, especially as a sixth-round pick, to gain a larger role on the Ravens' offense. However, showing out during the offseason is a step in the right direction. Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle With training camp around the corner, Wester has laid a strong foundation. While nothing is guaranteed, his willingness to learn and apply feedback from Harbaugh speaks volumes to his character. Texas A&M will face an ACC opponent in late November for a neutral-site game

Texas A&M will face an ACC opponent in late November for a neutral-site game New Texas A&M basketball coach Bucky McMillan is just two players away from completing his 15-man roster ahead of his inaugural 2025 season, as the former Samford head coach has already assembled an elite depth chart that rivals several SEC rosters, led by Creighton transfer guard Pop Issacs and Indiana transfer forward Mackenzie Mgbako. After the drama regarding Mgbako's flirtation with the 2025 NBA Draft ended with him signing with the Aggies, Issacs, who was previously committed to Houston, opted to join A&M's roster, knowing that he will be a guaranteed starter in an offense that will shoot a lot of 3-pointers, something he excelled at during his injury-riddled 2024 season with the Blue Jays. Over the past two weeks, McMillan has pieced together a nonconference schedule that includes an early road test against Oklahoma State, an ACC/SEC showdown against Pittsburgh, and now, according to CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, a "neutral site" game against Florida State set to take place on November 28 in Tampa, Florida. Florida State will also introduce its new head coach, Luke Loucks, who has assembled a respectable team this offseason. The game has yet to receive an official location in Tampa, which is expected to be announced soon. CEO behind Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers' F7 Pro helmet responds to veteran frustration

CEO behind Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers' F7 Pro helmet responds to veteran frustration Old habits die hard — and this couldn't be more true than for Aaron Rodgers, who had his longtime helmet model banned by the NFL this offseason. Rodgers wasn't thrilled about the switch to the newer, safer, and more innovative F7 Pro — and let reporters know about it at media availability. I recently had the opportunity to interview Certor Sports CEO Jeremy Erspamer about the F7 Pro model — and here's what he had to say in regard to veteran players, like Rodgers, giving up their old helmets: 'I feel for players like Aaron Rodgers,' Erspamer said. 'He's worn that same helmet model basically his entire career. As he said, he's never been hurt in it. I'm sure it feels like an old friend when he puts it on his head. I completely understand, from a player's perspective, that potentially causing frustration. I also understand the desire of the NFL — and for us, as helmet manufacturers — trying to develop new technology. Technology is evolving probably quicker than most people think. And the ability to protect athletes better comes along with that.' Rodgers will have plenty of time this offseason to adjust to the state-of-the-art F7 Pro — but his feedback remains valuable to Erspamer and Certor Sports as they refine both existing and in-development models.
