Beloved sitcom 'Allo, Allo' at Torch Theatre, Milford Haven

New Xenon presents this uproarious comedy, featuring the misadventures of cafe owner Rene in occupied France.
Audiences can expect to see all their favourite characters, including Rene's tone-deaf wife Edith, Officer Crabtree, and the Gestapo officer Herr Flick, among others.
The production promises to deliver slapstick humour and over-the-top situations that fans of the television series will adore.
Rene and Edith find themselves in a comical predicament, having hidden a priceless portrait stolen by the Nazis in a sausage in their cellar, where two British airmen are also hiding.
The chaos escalates as they use a wireless disguised as a cockatoo to communicate with London, while tricksters disguised as Hitler frequent the cafe in anticipation of the Führer's visit.
Rene must summon all his wit to save his café and his life.
Allison Butler, the Director and also playing Michelle of the Resistance, expressed her excitement: "We're thrilled to bring this hilarious show to the Torch as our maiden production for New Xenon Theatre Company.
"The cast members really are doing a wonderful job of bringing all the characters to life and we're looking forward to welcoming you to Café Rene!"
Jordan Dickin, who plays Officer Crabtree, added: "Rehearsals have been an absolute blast, and it's a joy to embody such an iconic character.
"Listen very carefully, I will say this only once…make it a Good Moaning and buy your tickets before they disappear like phantoms into the night!"
Tickets for 'Allo, Allo' are priced at £18, with £16 concessions available for the Thursday performance only.
The shows will take place on Thursday, June 19 at 7.30pm, Friday, June 20 at 7.30pm, and Saturday, June 21 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets are available for purchase through the Torch Theatre Box Office by calling 01646 695267.

Royal Ascot backs next generation of hat-makers from King's charity

Ahead of this month's world-famous meet, known as much for its colourful and creative displays of headwear as the horseracing, Ascot has introduced a £10,000 annual bursary to support a King's Foundation and Chanel graduating millinery student. Daniel McAuliffe, education director at The King's Foundation said: 'The royal family are incredible ambassadors for the craft of millinery and as the King's charity we are proud to be supporting the future of this skill at the most iconic hat-wearing event of the year.' The Foundation's students will also be showcasing their hats at this year's Royal Ascot, which runs from June 17-21, with a special display for racegoers in the Queen Anne Enclosure on the Berkshire course. The Chanel and The King's Foundation Metiers d'Art Millinery Fellowship in Partnership with le19M, Chanel's creative hub for artisans in Paris, was launched in 2024 with a cohort of six students. The intensive programme aims to develop a network of young specialist milliners in the UK, with the support of Parisian hat-maker Maison Michel at le19M. It forms part of The King's Foundation's wider work, inspired by Charles's passion for protecting traditional heritage skills at risk of being lost. Future students joining the millinery course will also be tasked with designing a Royal Ascot-inspired hat, with one selected to feature in the Royal Ascot Millinery Collective from 2026 onwards as its 11th design. The collective, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, is an annual presentation of 10 bespoke designs created exclusively for Royal Ascot under the creative direction of British fashion designer Daniel Fletcher. Mr McAuliffe added: 'This is such a fantastic opportunity for our talented millinery students as they begin to build their businesses. 'We are delighted to be working with Ascot and our long-term partners Chanel and le19M to recognise the importance of the British tradition of millinery.' Felicity Barnard, Ascot Racecourse's chief executive, said: 'Exquisite hats and millinery masterpieces are woven into the very fabric of Royal Ascot's heritage and we are committed to preserving and celebrating this tradition for generations to come.'

Cowboy Carter tour tickets still available just hours ahead of first London show

Beyonce will take to the stage at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight and fans can still snap up tickets for the gig, as the singer struggles to sell out her Cowboy Carter tour It's good news for British Beyoncé fans wanting to see Queen B in London this week, with hundreds of tickets still available as the iconic singer struggles to sell out her Cowboy Carter tour. The 43-year-old will perform her first of six gigs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this evening, followed by shows on June 7, 10, 12, 14, and 16, after the tour for her eighth studio album began in April in the US in Inglewood, California. ‌ At the time of writing, just hours before Beyoncé takes to the stage inside the 62,000 capacity venue, over 105 listings on ticket sites are up for grabs. On TicketMaster, fans can grab a ticket for a seat with a restricted view for just £71, while on Viagogo, members of the BeyHive can pay £54 to secure their place inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this evening. ‌ Fans with a little more cash to splash on last-minute purchases can get themselves a South GA Standing Ticket for £224.85 or £278 for seated in decent areas. It's a stark difference to the last time Beyonce performed in the UK in 2023 on the Renaissance World Tour, which saw her play five sell-out dates at the same London venue. So far in the Cowboy Carter tour, Beyonce 's set has seen her perform classic hits such as Love On Top, If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), along with tracks from her latest album, which saw her move into country music, including Texas Hold 'Em, 16 Carriages and II Most Wanted. The Houston-born star has also been performing covers of The Beatles' Blackbird and Dolly Parton's Jolene. Doors are expected to open at 5pm for the show, and the singer has not had a support act on the tour so far. Following the UK gigs, the singer will move on to Paris, where she will play three nights at the Stade De France, before returning to the US to conclude the tour. Beyonce announced the London dates after finally winning the album of the year Grammy this year for Cowboy Carter, released in March 2024, she also won the best country album Grammy as well as the country duo/group performance award for her song featuring Miley Cyrus, titled II Most Wanted. ‌ The singer had previously failed to secure the best album prize with 2008's I Am … Sasha Fierce, 2013's Beyonce, 2016's Lemonade and 2022's Renaissance, and dedicated her win to Linda Martell, who features on the album, who was the first black woman to play the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. The 67th Grammy Awards, held in February, saw the singer extend her lead as the most decorated artist in the event's history with 35 awards. ‌ In March, the King hailed Beyonce as 'exceptional' during his online radio show, The King's Music Room, and congratulated her on her first album of the year Grammy. Beginning her career alongside Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams in Destiny's Child during the 1990s, Beyonce has gone on to have six UK number one singles and five UK number one albums. She married rapper Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, in 2008, and the couple have three children – Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir.
