Emergency airlift after passenger badly hurt in rollover

WA Police said that a white Mitsubishi Challenger station sedan was travelling on Coral Bay Road in Lyndon towards Minilya-Exmouth Road when it veered off the road and rolled about 4pm on Saturday. Emergency services rushed to the scene, taking the driver and a passenger to Coral Bay Nursing Post. The 25-year-old female passenger sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital. The 23-year-old male driver was not hurt. Major crash investigators are examining the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online here.
