PLANT CITY, Fla. - A man who deputies said was behind the wheel during a deadly Plant City crash that happened more than a month ago has been arrested for DUI manslaughter.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said Adrian Burnett, 37, turned himself in to the Orient Road Jail on Tuesday after an arrest warrant was issued on Monday relating to the crash.

The backstory
Hillsborough County deputies responded to the head-on crash, which happened in the early morning hours of March 9 along Turkey Creek Road south of U.S. 92. The crash involved two vehicles, and when deputies arrived at the scene, they found two people dead.
Authorities said they issued an arrest warrant for Burnett following a thorough investigation of the crash.

Deputies said Burnett faces two counts of DUI manslaughter, armed possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis less than 20 grams.

Even though virtually all forms of dissent in Hong Kong have been quashed, the national security dragnet in the city continues to widen. Authorities have made widespread arrests under the law, which was imposed five years ago in the wake of massive pro-democracy protests. Last week, Hong Kong authorities laid new national security charges against Joshua Wong, one of the city's most prominent young activists. Wong is serving the prison sentence of another national security charge that ends in January 2027. Authorities last month charged the father of Anna Kwok, an outspoken activist living in Washington, D.C., accusing him of helping handle her financial assets. "We are sick and tired of it," Paul Scrivano told "Fox & Friends First" this week. "We have no one in charge. I would go so far as to say we have children in charge of Los Angeles right now." Over the weekend, protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers escalated into violent and destructive riots, leading President Donald Trump to deploy 2,000 National Guard troops and at least 500 Marines to help quell the unrest. Kansasville 2-vehicle crash; driver taken to hospital, cause under investigation

The Racine County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of the crash. RACINE COUNTY - One person was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Kansasville on Tuesday night, June 10. What we know Crews were dispatched to the intersection of CTH BD (formerly STH 75)/ S. Beaumont Avenue and Delaney Road around 10 p.m. When crews arrived at the scene, they found a black GM pickup truck, with major damage and airbag deployment, occupied only by the driver. Significant debris was strewn in the roadway and a second vehicle involved in the crash, a red Chevrolet Blazer with extensive damage and airbag deployment, was located about 150 yards north of the black pickup truck. The second vehicle was also only occupied by the driver at the time of the crash.
