Gold Price Today: The price of 24-carat gold climbed ₹10 in early trade on Thursday, with ten grams of the precious metal trading at ₹99,180 according to the GoodReturns website. The price of silver increased ₹100, with one kilogram of the precious metal selling at ₹1,02,100.
The price of 22-carat gold rose ₹10, with ten grams of the yellow metal selling at ₹90,910.
The price of ten grams of 24-carat gold in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai stood at ₹99,180.
In Delhi, the price of ten grams of 24-carat gold stood at ₹99,330.
In Mumbai, the price of ten grams of 22-carat gold is at par with Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad at ₹90,910.
In Delhi, the price of ten grams of 22-carat gold stood at ₹91,060.
The price of one kilogram of silver in Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai stood at ₹1,02,100.
The price of one kilogram of silver in Chennai stood at ₹1,13,100.
US gold prices remained stable on Thursday as investors assessed weaker-than-expected US data and ongoing global economic and political uncertainties, while looking ahead to US payroll data for further economic cues.
Spot gold was steady at $3,372.82 an ounce, as of 0210 GMT. US gold futures edged down 0.1 per cent to $3,395.50.
Elsewhere, spot silver fell 1.3 per cent to $34.51 an ounce, platinum rose 0.9 per cent to $1,093.07 and palladium was steady at $1.001.70.

He further added that, 'the economy, which will grow eightfold by 2047, everyone wants to benefit from that.'Piyush Goyal also addressed the ongoing India-EU Free Trade Agreement negotiations, conveying optimism regarding their said, 'We are very much on track to achieve that (FTA). More than half the chapters are ready - in terms of content, we are almost 90 per cent ready for market access. The important issue to be addressed between us is non-tariff barriers.'Recently, Swedish Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Benjamin Dousa, also said that a comprehensive free trade agreement between India and the European Union should tackle both tariff and non-tariff barriers to maximise benefits for both this week, Union minister Piyush Goyal said that with this FTA, India will be able to offer greater opportunities for FTA negotiations between the two sides are expected to conclude in 2025. India last month said the two sides engaged in a forward-looking and substantive dialogue to address global trade challenges and reaffirm their shared resolve to conclude the India-European Union Free Trade Agreement (FTA) by the end of FTA between India and EU represents significant opportunity for both regions to reduce regulatory barriers that currently impede trade flows, while strengthening economic ties that could benefit both regions' long-term growth prospects. ANI 12 Jun 2025, 13:42 GMT+10 New Delhi [India], June 10 (ANI): Indian steel companies are likely to experience an uptrend in the first quarter of 2026 owing to the recently imposed 12 per cent safeguard duty on flat products in April, according to a recent report by JM Government of India had imposed a 12 per cent safeguard duty in April, with an aim to protect the domestic steel industry from a sudden and sharp increase in steel imports. The government has set minimum import prices for five steel product categories ranging from USD 675 per tonne to USD 964 per tonne. Any shipment imported below these prices will attract a 12 per cent safeguard to the report, 'Indian steel companies are expected to witness margin expansion to the tune of approx. INR 2k/t in 1QFY26.'Indian steel companies' margins are expected to be partly offset by elevated iron ore prices and lower scale during the the report also highlights that amid the US tariff drama, Indian steel companies arguably have a relatively better spot margin construct than their non-ferrous peers, given the recently imposed safeguard report also says, 'As per news articles, the government is further considering the possibility of increasing the safeguard duty to 24 per cent from 12 per cent currently, which shall further protect domestic players from countries dumping cheap steel in India.'In contrast, Chinese steel prices remain subdued, with spot HRC and rebar prices down USD 22/t and USD20/t on global steel prices, China's steel exports for CY24 surged to 111mn tonnes, up nearly 22 per cent on a year-on-year basis, and exports for Apr'25 came in at 10.5mn tonnes (+13 per cent YoY).China recently announced its intention to reduce domestic steel production, and any meaningful implementation of this measure could support the global level, steel making raw materials experienced a muted quarter, weighed down by supply disruptions in Australian mines while China's average iron ore prices corrected by USD4/t compared to 4Q.
