Rani Mukerji's ‘Mardaani 3' gets release date, actor returns as Shivani Shivaji Roy
Rani Mukerji-starrer Mardaani 3 will release in cinemas on February 27, 2026, ahead of Holi, producers Yash Raj Films announced on Monday (April 21).
Mukerji, star of Mardaani (2014) and Mardaani 2 (2019), is set to return as driven supercop Shivani Shivaji Roy, embarking on a new fight for justice.
Mardaani 3 is being directed by Abhiraj Minawala. He is known for assisting on YRF films such as Band Baaja Baaraat, Gunday, Sultan, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Tiger 3. Aayush Gupta (The Railway Men) has penned the script.
Rani Mukerji was last seen in the legal drama Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway, released in 2023. She also featured in the docu-series The Romantics.

Jr NTR and director Trivikram Srinivas are all geared up to reunite once again for a magnum opus venture. As per sources, the Devara actor will be donning the role of Lord Kumara Swamy, headlining the mythological drama venture.
