The Ministry noted that youth centers witnessed a massive turnout during the first day of the holiday, with approximately 13 million citizens visiting these centers. In addition to those attending the Eid prayer, around three million participated in the 'Eid is Ahla' (Eid is More Joyful) initiative, organized by the Ministry's Central Administration for Youth Centers in cooperation with regional directorates. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, highlighted that the overwhelming public presence underscores citizens' trust in the vital societal role played by youth centers. He affirmed the Ministry's ongoing efforts to enhance the infrastructure and services of these centers to meet the needs of all age groups. 'Youth centers have become an integral part of Egyptian life. They are no longer limited to sports activities—they now serve as inclusive spaces for worship, entertainment, and cultural and social engagement,' Minister Sobhi said. He added, 'We are committed to transforming youth centers into creative, community-driven hubs that offer diverse services in cooperation with other ministries and institutions. This contributes to fostering a sense of national belonging and aligns with the state's strategy for citizen development.'
