Key Facts
Sánchez and Bezos both departed their hotel and headed for San Giorgio Island by boat separately on Friday afternoon, both flanked by security as tourists looked on.
Sánchez departed the hotel first, wearing sunglasses, a head scarf and a cream suit designed by Dior as she waved and blew kisses to onlookers, after which Bezos left his hotel wearing a tuxedo.
Both departed for San Giorgio Island on the MOA NYC boat, a luxury boat crafted from mahogany wood that seats eight people and is rented out by Blitz Exclusive Services, which offers luxury boats, yachts and cars for travel around Venice.
Amid the threat of protests that have already disrupted some of the couple's wedding plans, police officers surrounded the venue on jet skis as police and security officers guard the entrance.

Where Are Bezos And Sánchez Getting Married?
Bezos and Sánchez are exchanging their vows Friday evening on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, one of Venice's many small islands. The island is known for its church, which boasts a tall bell tower. Matteo Bocelli, son of opera singer Andrea Bocelli, is expected to perform. The couple invited dozens of A-list celebrity guests and billionaire friends, including much of the Kardashian family, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Sydney Sweeney, Orlando Bloom, Tom Brady and more. The three-day celebration began Thursday evening with a party at the Madonna dell'Orto, a 14th-century cathedral, and will conclude Saturday with a wedding reception at Venice's Arselane, an armory and shipyard that now hosts cultural festivals.

Lauren Sanchez wedding gown revealed
After much anticipation, Lauren Sanchez's wedding gown has been revealed, with Dolce & Gabbana confirmed as the fashion house behind the design. Many details surrounding the Bezos-Sanchez wedding extravaganza have been closely guarded and, in keeping with tradition, this secrecy of course extended to the bridal dress. But the sartorial embargo could not keep a lid on early rumors that Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were the designers behind the look. Sanchez's personal affinity to the luxury Italian brand is no secret, and she's now a regular attendee of its fashion shows. Sanchez attended the house's Alta Sartoria couture show in Sardinia last summer where she watched on — in white, no less — as her son Nikko Gonzalez walked the runway. Gonzalez had made his debut for Dolce & Gabbana during the brand's Fall-Winter 2024 menswear show in Milan in January of that year, with both Sanchez and Bezos on the front row. Dolce was also photographed in Venice on Thursday, further fueling speculation that the designers were involved in the wedding. Sanchez's bold style has evolved significantly over the years. In the lead up to her Met Gala debut in 2024, when she stepped out in a strapless Oscar de la Renta custom design, she told Vogue, 'I think my personal style is ever-evolving. I was a reporter for a long time, so it was suits. Then did a morning show and you dressed a little differently. I've always had to dress for the role I was in. Now I'm having fun.' She appeared to channel this attitude at Donald Trump's presidential inauguration in January, when she raised eyebrows in an Alexander McQueen suit, the suffragette-white design was styled to reveal a hint of her lace bustier. Meanwhile, a survey of her more formal looks in recent years reveals a trend towards form-fitting, strapless, and mermaid cut gowns, exemplified by the shimmering nereid-inspired Roberto Cavalli gown she wore to the amfAR gala in Cannes last month. Sanchez has turned to celebrity stylists like Molly Dickson and to help craft her look for major public events, as many prominent figures do. Dickson, who counts Sydney Sweeney and Bella Hadid among her clients, styled Sanchez in a remarkably bridal, all-white Oscar de la Renta custom gown for the Vanity Fair Oscar party in March. While the design by Dolce and Gabbana was the main event, Sanchez tantalized onlookers with numerous other high-fashion ensembles including a single-strapped vintage Alexander McQueen dress and a brocade corset dress from Schiaparelli's most recent couture show over the course of celebrations. Tom Holland, Zendaya's fiancé, among top choices as the next James Bond
Could Spider-Man become the next James Bond? A report says Tom Holland, the fiance of Oakland-born actress and singer Zendaya, is one of Amazon MGM Studios' top three choices to play Agent 007, along with 'Euphoria' star Jacob Elordi and 'Babygirl' actor Harris Dickinson. Holland has played the web-flinging superhero in three films, most recently 2021's ' Spider-Man: No Way Home,' with Zendaya as his love interest in all three films. The pair is supposed to star in a fourth Spidey film, but the movie is still in the planning stages. Amazon and the new Bond producers, Amy Pascal and David Heyman, revealed on Wednesday, June 25, that ' Dune ' franchise director Denis Villeneuve has been tapped to helm the first Bond film since Daniel Craig retired from the role. Because the actor cast as Bond would ideally play the character for 15 years or more, the studio and producers are targeting British actors under the age of 30, Variety reported. Elordi is Australian, but there is a precedent for that: Aussie George Lazenby played the dashing British Secret Service agent in 1969's 'On Her Majesty Secret Service.' Ever since Craig's final Bond film, ' No Time to Die ' (2021), speculation has been rampant about his successor, with former ' Superman ' Henry Cavill, Idris Elba and Aaron Taylor-Johnson often mentioned as top choices. But Cavill is 42, Elba 52 and Taylor-Johnson 35. Craig was 36 when he was cast as the character created by novelist Ian Fleming in the 1950s. He played the role five times, beginning with 'Casino Royale' (2006). He was 51 during the bulk of the filming of 'No Time to Die.' At 5-foot-7, the 29-year-old Holland would become the shortest James Bond; the 6'5' Elordi, 28, would be the tallest. Dickinson, 29, is 6'2'. Amazon acquired the Bond franchise, which began in 1962 and has made nearly $8 billion across 25 official films, in 2022 and assumed creative control this year. Sean Connery originated the role in 'Dr. No' and starred in the first six of seven films, coming back for one more film after Lazenby's appearance; followed by Roger Moore (seven films), Timothy Dalton (two), Pierce Brosnan (four) and Craig. Whomever is cast to join this elite bunch won't make his debut for a while. Amazon is targeting a 2028 release at the earliest for the gargantuan production. If it is Holland, could Zendaya be the next Bond girl?

Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos Are Married! See Inside Her Final Wedding Dress Fitting
The bride is corseted and cosseted in her high-necked, hand-appliquéd Italian lace wedding dress on the grounds of an 18th-century brick villa outside of Milan. 'I'm gonna cry!' says the soon-to-be Lauren Sánchez Bezos. 'I'm gonna be a mess on the day, but the best kind of mess.' Today is a shoot for Vogue. The day before, Sánchez and Bezos were at the Dolce & Gabbana atelier in central Milan for their final fittings. In a few weeks and 170 miles away, they will marry in front of some 200 family and friends in Venice. 'It was more powerful than I thought,' Sánchez says of yesterday's fitting. Bezos begged to see the dress. 'I almost gave in!' she admits. 'But I want it to be a surprise. As you get a little older, not many things surprise you. I can't wait to see his face.' She is now posing, hands on hips and leaning forward—Fellini-esque in the mermaid-line gown—framed by an allée of cypress poplars. 'I feel like a princess,' she says. "You look like a princess!' the eager chorus of onlookers—glam team, seamstresses, production crew—parries back. A team of Dolce tailors, dressed in crisp white work coats with black crochet Peter Pan collars and grosgrain ribbon belts, unfolds a tulle and lace veil with the precision of surgeons. When a winged ant gets caught in the delicate fabric, a frenzy of hushed, urgent Italian ensues before the ant is carefully, gingerly dislodged. The veil is applied to Sánchez's head like a crown. A man on a scooter tootles past the property line and a momentary panic sets in. The location has been chosen to avoid any chance of Milanese paparazzi. Was the man wearing a GoPro? No, the Italian shoot producer assures everyone. That was just a maize farmer headed to the neighboring property. No GoPro.
