The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the most famous and high-profile Formula One races thanks to its incredible backdrop and its storied history. The Circuit de Monaco is a narrow course that spans 3.337 km through the streets of Monte Carlo and has been a part of the F1 circuit since the very first Formula One race in 1950. This year's Monaco Grand Prix will begin on Sunday at 9 a.m. ET, airing on ESPN3 and ESPN+, but you can tune in all weekend to catch practices and qualifying races, too.

Florida star Alex Condon withdraws name from NBA Draft, will return to Gators for junior season
Sophomore forward Alex Condon played a major role in Florida winning its first national championship since the university went back-to-back during in 2006 and 2007. Now, Condon will look to repeat that feat after withdrawing his name from the 2025 NBA Draft. Condon announced that decision Tuesday — a day before the deadline for college players with remaining eligibility to withdraw from the NBA Draft. He cited the desire to go back-to-back as a major reason he opted to return to Florida for his junior year, per ESPN. "It's a hard thing to do, winning back-to-back," Condon said. "We're not taking it lightly. We need to get together as a team. Get back to Gainesville, share in some hardship through hard work in the summer, and get used to playing with each other. Part of the reason we were so good last season was we got used to playing with each other for two years. We need to continue that. When guys have your back, that's what makes a great team." Condon, who is Australian, averaged 10.6 points and 7.5 rebounds with the Gators last season. Those figures ranked fourth and first on the team, respectively. The 6-foot-11 forward ranked 41st on Yahoo Sports' NBA Draft big board, making him a possible early second-round pick. Condon pushed himself to excel offensively during private workouts with NBA teams, and told ESPN he "learned a lot about" himself during the draft process. Florida head coach Todd Golden echoed that sentiment Tuesday, and believes Condon "positioned himself nicely," by coming back to Florida for another year. Todd Golden says he's "thrilled" that Condon is returning to the Gators. Said he had a great process, with a lot of good feedback. Condon should be in for a bigger role with the Gators with both Walter Clayton Jr. and Alijah Martin leaving for the 2025 NBA Draft. Clayton Jr. and Martin were the top two scorers on the Gators last season, so Condon could have more opportunities to excel on offense as a junior. With Condon and Will Richard returning (and the addition of Arkansas transfer Boogie Fland), Florida should once again be ranked as one of the top teams in college basketball entering next season. While winning back-to-back national championships will be difficult, Florida should receive a nice boost with Condon back in the fold.

Lamine Yamal signs new Barcelona contract until 2031
Lamine Yamal has signed a new six-year Barcelona contract that runs until 2031. The 17-year-old's previous contract had been due to expire in the summer of 2026 and contained a €1billion ($1b) release clause. His new terms, that will take him through into the next decade, make him one of the club's highest-paid players. Advertisement Yamal has established himself as one of the world's top young stars since he last renewed his Barcelona terms in 2023, playing a pivotal role in Barca's treble-winning 2024-25 season and Spain's 2024 European Championship triumph. The Athletic reported in May that while an understanding was in place that he would renew on new terms when he turns 18, on July 13, his fast rise and status within the team has adjusted salary expectations and contract terms. He has previously spoken of his desire to commit his long-term future to Barca, whom he described in January as 'the club of my life'. 'He is special,' Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick said of Yamal after the team's Champions League semi-final first leg against Inter. 'I've said before he is a genius. During the game, when I looked at the match from the outside, you see all the details and it is unbelievable how he does it. 'For me the best thing is he keeps going strong. In the big games he keeps showing how good he is. I also think he enjoys the situation. I am really happy this talent that comes every 50 years, that he plays for Barcelona.' Yamal has drawn comparisons to Barcelona great Lionel Messi and has already featured more heavily for the club that than Messi did at the same age. Yamal won his first cap for the Spain senior team against Georgia, aged 16 years and 57 days. He scored on his debut to become the country's youngest ever goalscorer, breaking the record previously held by Barcelona teammate Gavi, who was who was 17 years and 62 days old. Yamal has been capped 19 times in total, scoring four goals. With his strike in Spain's 2-1 semi-final win over France at Euro 2024, he became the youngest goalscorer in men's major tournament history. Analysis from Barcelona correspondent Pol Ballus When Yamal signed his previous contract in October 2023, Barcelona and the player's camp laid out the foundations of a new deal to be signed as soon as the winger turned 18. That new contract included a significant pay rise and a multi-year extension. But yet again, Yamal has outgrown every expectation there was around him.
