UNIFIL peacekeepers in Sector West donate blood to the local community
NNA - UNIFIL Sector West Command, in cooperation with the Red Cross, launched today a blood donation campaign at its headquarters in Shamaa, whereby 151 peacekeepers voluntarily participated in this initiative that demonstrates an act of care, solidarity, and support for the local population and the community's well-being. In an issued statement, the UNIFIL considered that "this initiative takes on even greater significance during the holy month of Ramadan, a time of reflection and sharing for the Muslim community."
