
Jarir expects 5% growth in sales, 5 new showrooms in 2025: Chairman
Speaking to Argaam, Chairman Muhammad Bin Abdulrahman Alagil of Jarir Marketing Co. indicated that the company anticipates sales growth of 5% year-on-year in 2025, resulting in SAR 500 million.
Jarir Marketing plans to open five showrooms during the current year between Riyadh, Jeddah, the Eastern Province, and Qatar.
The Chairman explained that e-commerce accounted for over 25% of total sales, while installment sales increased by 32% by 2024-end.
Meanwhile, the wholesale and corporate part of the business dropped by 15% by the end of 2024, but the retail part grew by 3% during that time.
Alagil stated that Jarir is working on a bundle of new initiatives to improve products, as new devices will be introduced that provide additional capabilities for artificial intelligence (AI) and its accessories and significantly expand the portfolio of game categories.
Also, more than half a million books will be displayed on the site, expanding options beyond traditional exhibitions.
Jarir Marketing is focusing on enhancing its offers, especially the replacement service, to allow customers to exchange their old devices for new ones.
Alagil noted that Jarir's website will undergo comprehensive improvements in the second quarter of this year, making it more efficient and user-friendly.
According to the data available on Argaam, Jarir Marketing's profits increased slightly to SAR 974 million by the end of 2024, compared to profits of SAR 973 million in 2023. The company's fourth-quarter profits amounted to SAR 275.4 million.

Edaa adjusts Marble Design's nominal value
The Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) applied today, June 11, the stock measures to Marble Design Co. 's securities, adjusting the stock's nominal value in eligible shareholder accounts, according to a statement to Tadawul. The company's shareholders approved reducing the stock's nominal value from SAR 10 to SAR 1, Argaam earlier reported. Accordingly, the number of shares will rise to 60 million from the current 6 million. The company's capital will remain unchanged.
