THE parents of a missing Brit say they have had "no contact" with Spanish police who called off their search last week.
Matthew Chapman, 24, from Doncaster, vanished near the popular resort of Tossa de Mar in Catalonia.

Matthew's family began to feel concerned when he failed to pick up his brother-in-law to take him to work.
The 24-year-old was reported missing on April 30.
Matthew left the UK in a van, which has been found abandoned and empty at a viewpoint, near Tossa de Mar, 60 miles north of Barcelona.
Police and firefighters launched a two-day search involving a helicopter and drones last week before calling the operation off late on Thursday.
His anxious parents, Jane and Andrew Chapman, say they have not had any contact with local investigators.
They also say South Yorkshire police, who have been supporting them since early May, did not inform them of the search.
Mum Jane Chapman said: 'We thought he was sleeping in his van, so that's caused more angst.
"We were in the hope that he was just touring Europe and that when he ran out of money he'd be a bit sheepish and get back in touch with his tail between his legs. That's what we were hoping for.'
She added: 'I haven't had any correspondence from the Spanish police at all. I hope they won't leave any stone unturned.'

Some of the men involved were wearing masks and were carrying weapons. 'Two men went to hospital after suffering injuries at the scene. Both have since been discharged. A man and a woman suffered minor injuries at the scene but did not want any medical treatment. 'Officers have reviewed CCTV footage and have been actively carrying out enquiries to find out more about what happened. A 22-year-old man, from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of wounding and affray. Another man, also 22 and from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of affray. 'Both were questioned in custody and bailed with conditions while our enquiries continue.' The police later confirmed both suspects were released with no further action last month. Meanwhile, when Kyle was meant to enter the villa, he shared his expectations from the show and shared how he flirted with women. "I noticed something was wrong as soon as I released the safety pin and the spoon sprung off it immediately. "It made some sort of reaction similar to when a fire work fuse is ignited. It was a spilt second, I immediately threw this at the rear of the garden and evacuated the property and called the police. "I was told to be minimum 100 meters away and try to alert neighbours. Police arrived within several minutes. "Around five police cars turned up and about 30 minutes after the RLC bomb squad arrived to investigate. "He firstly x-rayed the grenade to see if it still had its explosive content left. "He's sure it was decommissioned but not certain, so he put it inside what looked to be a heavy-duty explosives box and told me he is going to dispose of it back at base. "This was brought last year August at Malvern antiques fair. Bomb Disposal Team Responds to Manchester Supermarket Incident "A few people were worried in the street. The area was locked for about three to four hours." The RG-42 World War Two device, which he got for £30 at an antiques fair in Malvern last year, was found to be safe. West Mercia Police said: 'The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team X-rayed the grenade and found it was empty so there was no need for a controlled explosion.'
