Next's £28 linen dress that's 'really comfortable' to wear in summer

Next, shoppers have been raving about an affordable summer dress that many women have declared "great for holidays." Some who bought the "stylish" dress described it as perfect for glamming up for a night out or keeping it casual for daytime excursions.
The V-Neck Ruffle Sleeve Mini Dress with Linen comes in eight different styles, with prices starting from £28 for options like plain white or black and some patterns like Animal Leopard Print or Red/Pink Wiggle Stripes. Shoppers can get more elaborate designs like the Mono Floral print (£30) or the Brown and Black tile print (£35).
The dress comes in sizes ranging from six to 26. It also offers a petite fit option to cater to various body types.
Each style, made from a linen-blend material, boasts a V-neckline and short ruffled sleeves. Next's team points out on the website that "the versatile design makes this dress easy to elevate with a formal look".
But, it can also be effortlessly styled down for "an everyday vibe" to suit more laid-back occasions, reports the Mirror. While similar items are available elsewhere, like Very's Embroidered Frill Front Playsuit (reduced to £32 from £40) and ASOS's Wednesday's Girl frill sleeve mini dress (£24), Next's £28 outfit has received glowing reviews.

One shopper said: "Lovely - looks and feels great for holidays!" Another added: "Versatile dress which is easy to wear daytime or evening - dress up with a denim jacket. Comfortable fit and true to size. Cool in a warm climate."
Some shoppers, however, had their issues. One claimed: "I thought it was very flimsy and more like a nightie. Definitely not for my age. Probably better for a young person or over a bikini."
Another cautioned other women: "Lovely design dress, but so see-through. Would only wear for over a bikini needs lining."

Yet, the item has gained plenty of other five-star ratings, with one customer who purchased the Red/Pink Wiggle Stripe style writing online: "Perfect holiday colours and loose fit for hot climates, a great dress." A fifth person said: "I found my normal size slightly big around the arms but not enough to send it back. Nice feel and generous with the sizing."
Another added: "I'm very pleased with this dress. It's good quality and really comfortable to wear. It's a definite holiday favourite for me." Finally, a shopper posted: "This dress is ideal for both daytime and evening beachwear. Its fit is simple yet flattering. I bought it in black and white, and both colours look fantastic under the Caribbean sun."
