Australian model Gabrielle Epstein has revealed a shocking eye injury she sustained during a visit to an archery range.
The 30-year-old shared a series of photos of her black eye following the accident.
Gabrielle admitted the injury occurred because she opted against wearing protective eyewear.
'Turns out, shooting with glasses might have been a good idea,' she wrote.

Just moments before the mishap, the Gold Coast beauty had posted an ominous photo of two arrows missing their tips, along with a cheeky warning: 'I should have known bad things happen in threes.'
Gabby has shared her passion for archery with fans since taking it up in 2023.
In December 2023, she revealed the bizarre request she received after managing to shoot a bullseye with an arrow.
Gabby shared footage of the incredible moment she managed to hit target during her first archery class.
The footage showed the model, beaming with pride, declaring to the camera, 'I'm really good at this.'
While many fans were quick to praise her for her impressive aim, one particular comment stood out.
A follower, clearly more interested in another aspect of her online presence, lamented the absence of 'feet pics' in her recent posts.
'Another day with no feet pics,' they wrote.
'The power of the feet, gives accuracy of the arrow...'
Gabrielle, frustrated with this line of commentary, responded with a plea for no more such unsolicited requests.
'Can I not have one day of peace from ya'll?' she retorted.
With 3.8million followers on Instagram and a huge following on Snapchat, Gabrielle is one of Australia's hottest glamour models.
The stunning Gold Coast native was not always destined to be a model.
In her early twenties Gabrielle, who was also a competitive swimmer in her teens, had her sights set on becoming a vet after completing a biomedical science degree at university.

Triple J has extended an almighty olive branch to the Australian public, after back-to-back Hottest 100 wins by American artists sounded the death knell of the song contest's popularity. On Tuesday, June 17 voting officially opened for the new poll, 'The Hottest 100 of Australian songs'. The new countdown will take place on July 26 and has strict rules in place to ensure it honours Triple J's 50 years on-air milestone, and the 'support local' ethos of the national song contest which began in 1989. Eligible songs must have been released by January 19, 2025 and they must feature at least 50 per cent Australian artists. For example 'Rhyme Dust' by Dom Dolla and MK and 'Fancy' by Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX pass, but no song by Split Enz will be considered. 'Because they are from New Zealand,' the voting page explains. Triple J's presenters have already weighed in with their favourites on social media, and so have a raft of Aussie artists. The announcement comes after US singer Chappell Roan claimed the win in 2025 with her Sapphic earworm 'Good Luck Babe!'.
