Ohio State five-star commit visiting other schools

Yahoo21-02-2025

Ohio State football commit, Chris Henry Jr. has setup a number official visits for the upcoming months with one to Miami in May and three in June that include USC, Oregon and of course Ohio State. The five-star receiver from California has been committed as a Buckeye since July 28, 2023, but OSU fans are allowed to be a tad anxious considering there is enough time from now until pen meets paper for something fishy to occur, especially in the new NIL filled college football landscape.
A consensus top five receiver in the class of 2026, it is no secret that every school is wanting a piece of Henry and it doesn't appear anyone is going to stop pursuing just because he 'committed' to Ohio State. It will be interesting to see how the recent promotion of Brian Hartline effects his recruitment as most would consider their position coach getting a promotion as a major plus.
Henry has commented on the news of the Hartline promotion saying that he loves this move and 'Coach Hartline knows how to develop receivers better than anyone, and now with him as OC I know he's going to put us receivers in the best position to dominate for sure.'
The Buckeyes are working hard to put together a historic class for 2026 and the 6-foot, 5-inch star is a big part of that class. Players with his mixture of size and speed do not come around very often and he has the potential to make an impact early and often wherever he lands.

Arthur Smith addresses play-calling drama involving ex-Steelers QB Russell Wilson

Arthur Smith addresses play-calling drama involving ex-Steelers QB Russell Wilson Russell Wilson left the Steelers for the Giants this offseason — but it didn't stop Arthur Smith from setting the record straight regarding his former QB. Back in February, insider Gerry Dulac reported that Smith prevented Wilson from changing plays at the line of scrimmage like he did against the Cincinnati Bengals, leading to a clash of minds. NFL Network reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala claimed that these reports were a ploy by Wilson's camp — but the Steelers offensive coordinator didn't take these allegations lying down. At Day 2 of mandatory minicamp's media availability, Smith downplayed the rumors as a "fantastical narrative" that any plays were being called at the line of scrimmage — and ultimately blamed the 2024 offensive failures on being "not good enough." One of the biggest issues with the Steelers scheme, both offensive and defensive, is the inability to adapt when the plays are too predictable — and Smith's comments don't instill confidence that it'll change in 2025. EUGENE, Ore. — Kostas Zaltos won the NCAA hammer throw and fellow Greek thrower Angelos Mantzouranis was second to help Minnesota take the Day 1 lead at the outdoor track and field championships Wednesday. Zaltos and Mantzouranis are the first teammates to go 1-2 in the NCAA hammer throw since Virginia Tech did it in 2011. Zaltos won with a throw of 256 feet, 2 inches in the fourth round to become the first Minnesota outdoor champion since 2018 and just the third since 1971. Mantzouranis, who finished third as a freshman last year, had a personal-best 252-6.
