One-year-old baby fighting their life after being found injured in home – as woman, 20, and two men, 24 & 25, arrested

A BABY has been left fighting for their life after being discovered at a home suffering from "critical injuries".
Three people have been arrested in connection with the one-year-old child's welfare, after emergency services discovered the baby with serious injuries on Monday afternoon in Darlington, County Durham.

The baby was then rushed to the Royal Victoria Infirmary and remains there in a critical condition.
Durham Police has confirmed that two men, aged 24 and 25, as well as a woman, 20, have been arrested in connection with the injuries.
All three currently remain in custody.

A MAN has tragically died after getting into difficulty while swimming near a UK beauty spot. The alarm was raised at Tor Bay, near Penmaen village on the Gower Peninsula, in South Wales, this afternoon. Advertisement Coastguard crews, police and paramedics were called to the scene. A 50-year-old from Sandfields, Swansea, was pulled from the water at around 1pm, said South Wales Police. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics at around 4pm.
