The ultras group want to raise funds to help improve the standard of tifos next season
Rangers ultras group the Union Bears have launched a crowdfunding appeal to fans to help them improve next season's tifos as the club starts a new era under the 49ers.
They are targeting £10,000 - and have raised £1,500 since announcing the move - after admitting that some of the displays last season didn't meet the standard required.

The Union Bears have often courted controversy and one tifo last season for a game against Celtic even resulted in a police enquiry.

The display showed Rangers legend Graeme Souness holding a shotgun above a banner reading 'take aim against the rebel scum' for the Old Firm derby at Ibrox.
And it was referenced in their statement which read: "As one season ends, work is already underway for the next.
"But first, we must admit that not every tifo this season has met the standard expected at Ibrox, home to the best tifos in the UK.
"While there were some memorable efforts, including one that sent the country into meltdown, overall consistency has fallen short.
"Issues with certain members of club staff haven't helped us but we also take responsibility.

"We're committed to raising the bar with new ideas, methods and plans are already in place to achieve this.
"We also aim to have the pulley system moved to the Copland stand by the start of next season.
"After recent displays you may have seen cost breakdowns from us; endless days of work put in to each tifo can be expected, but the financial demands can go unnoticed.

"These tifos are fully fan funded and we would like to thank you for your continued support whether that be buying sticker packs, tifo memberships or cash donations, without this they simply would not happen.
"To gain momentum for a crucial start to next season, we've launched a crowdfunder."

'Leading contender' to replace Postecoglou at Spurs revealed

Read more: Now, Frank, who is currently in charge of Brentford, is the frontrunner to replace Postecoglou, claims The Athletic. The 59-year-old released a statement following his Spurs departure. He said: "When I reflect on my time as Manager of Tottenham Hotspur, my overriding emotion is one of pride. Sharing that experience with all those who truly love this club and seeing the impact it had on them is something I will never forget. "That night in Bilbao was the culmination of two years of hard work, dedication and unwavering belief in a dream. There were many challenges to overcome and plenty of noise that comes with trying to accomplish what many said was not possible. I know there were some difficult times, but I always felt that they wanted me to succeed, and that gave me all the motivation I needed to push on. It's important to acknowledge the hard-working people at Spurs who gave me encouragement on a daily basis. "And finally, I want to thank those who were with me every day for the last two years. A fantastic group of young men who are now legends of this football club, and the brilliant coaches who never once doubted we could do something special. "We are forever connected.
