Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari's anti-India claims at the UN were countered by a journalist who cited an Indian Muslim officer leading Operation Sindoor, leaving Bilawal with no response.
Pakistan's former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, while speaking at a press conference at the UN headquarters in New York on Tuesday, made a rash attempt to push an anti-India narrative as he claimed that 'Muslims were being demonised" in the country.
However, his anti-India propaganda was effectively countered by a foreign journalist, who pointed out that he had personally witnessed India's Operation Sindoor briefing being headed by an Indian Muslim officer.
The journalist's remarks visibly left Bilawal with no counter, and he simply nodded in response.
At UN, Bilawal Bhutto claimed that Indian Govt is demonising muslims in India after Pahalgam Terror attack in Kashmir.A foreign Muslim Journalist replied that as far as he recalls Indian muslim military official was conducting the briefing for India's Operation Sindoor.… pic.twitter.com/4AwdrUuN0j

Operation Sindoor's briefing was led by two senior women officers: Colonel Sofiya Qureshi of the Indian Army's Corps of Signals and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, a helicopter pilot in the Indian Air Force, along with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.
'As far as the hurdles we face within the UN and in general, as far as the Kashmir cause is concerned, that still exists," Bilawal Bhutto said at the press conference.
Currently, Bilawal Bhutto is heading a parliamentary delegation to the United States which has been given the task of presenting Islamabad's narrative on recent regional tensions.
While speaking with UN officials and diplomats, Bhutto said that subjects like water disputes and terrorism had some reception.
The structure of the Pakistani delegation is very similar to India's recent diplomatic offensive, in which an all-party parliamentary delegation has been constituted, which is travelling across the present New Delhi's position after the Pahalgam massacre.
After arriving in New York on Monday, Bilawal Bhutto's delegation held meetings with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, General Assembly President Philemon Yang, and Security Council President Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett.
They also interacted with the permanent representatives of the United States, China, Russia, and France, along with four other permanent members of the Security Council and the representatives from non-permanent member states.
The Pakistani delegation on Wednesday is scheduled to be in Washington, DC, at the same time when the Indian delegation led by senior Congress MP Shashi Tharoor will be present there.
