Man 'threw box of drugs' out window on East Kilbride expressway
Cops claim that a large cardboard box was apparently thrown from a transit van onto the grass verge of the East Kilbride expressway on May 31 at 5pm.

Officers were in a marked vehicle driving behind the van. The van was stopped and the box was recovered.
The box was allegedly found to contain 2.1KG of herbal Cannabis.

The driver was informed that a report will be submitted to the procurator Fiscal for the alleged offence.

Salford couple charged over alleged Thailand cannabis importation
A British couple have been charged with allegedly trying to smuggle more than 50kgs of cannabis from Thailand into the UK. Daniel McDonald, 36, and Sian Warren, 35, from Salford, Greater Manchester, were arrested at Heathrow Airport after arriving from the country on 27 May, the National Crime Agency said. The agency said it found suitcases containing 51kgs (112lbs) of pair have been charged with drugs importation offences and faced Uxbridge Magistrates court last week. Two people charged following €240,000 cannabis seizure
Gardaí have charged the two people that were arrested following the seizure by Revenue officers of 12kg of herbal cannabis, with an estimated value of €240,000. The seizures were made at two separate locations in Swords, Co Dublin on Monday. Advertisement The man, aged in his 30s has been charged in relation to the seizure and is due to appear before Balbriggan District Court this morning at 10.30am. The female, aged in her late teens, was charged in relation to the seizure and released on bail. She is due to appear before Balbriggan District Court at a later date. Man and woman charged in connection with drug seizure in north Dublin
A man and a woman have been charged in connection with a drug seizure in Swords in Dublin. 12 kilos of herbal cannabis, worth €250,000 was discovered during searches on Monday.
