COMEDK UGET 2025 Rank Card: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) today, June 7, will release the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET 2025) rank cards. The Consortium will release the COMEDK UGET 2025 scorecards at the official website – at 2 pm. The students who appeared for the exam will be able to download the COMEDK 2025 rank cards from the candidate login from 2 pm. Counselling registration and document upload will start next, from June 9 (4 pm). The last date to register for counselling and upload document against COMEDK 2025 UGET is June 18 (2 pm). The COMEDK UGET was held on May 10 and May 25 for one paper with three sections – maths, physics and chemistry. The exam on May 25 was conducted for a selected number of candidates who were placed in centres affected by Operation Sindoor and blackout and possible power outages in some centres. Candidates scoring above the cut-off marks will be able to register for engineering and medical courses. – Go to the COMEDK UGET 2025 website – – Click on the COMEDK UGET 2025 candidate login – Next, insert registration number and other credentials as required – Download the COMEDK rank card 2025 page and take a printout of it for future use. Candidates will get one mark for every correct answer in the COMEDK 2025 paper. As per the COMEDK exam pattern, no marks will be deducted for wrong answer. However, in the event of a tie in the test score the principle of least negative responses (number of wrong answers) will be adopted, the Consortium said. In addition, if required, other methods may be adopted to break ties, it added. The COMEDK provisional answer key was released on May 28. Candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections against the provisional COMEDK answer key by May 30 and the final answer keys were released on June 4.

Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam can download their results through the official website, using their application number and password via the 'Applicant Login' portal. The announcement marks a major step for over 1.13 lakh candidates who participated in this year's entrance test, vying for engineering seats across COMEDK-affiliated institutions. Online counselling for seat allotment will commence on June 9, 2025, and will follow a fully digital process. The last date to register and upload documents is June 18, 2025. Over one lakh candidates appeared for the entrance exam The COMEDK UGET 2025 was held in two phases, on May 10 and May 25, across 248 centres in 179 cities throughout India. Of the 1,31,937 registered applicants, 1,13,111 took the test. Among these, 37,715 were from Karnataka while 75,396 came from other states. Due to disruptions caused by 'Operation Sindoor', the exam had to be rescheduled at 24 centres—13 centres missed all three sessions, while the third session was cancelled in 11 others. The rescheduled exam was conducted smoothly on May 25. To ensure fairness, the test scores were standardised using percentile rankings, given the examination was held in multiple sessions. Provisional answer keys were made available on May 28, with 69 objections submitted and reviewed by an expert panel. The final answer keys were released on June 4, 2025. Karnataka students dominate top ranks Karnataka has emerged strongly in the 2025 results, with 4 of the top 10 rank holders belonging to the state. Shishir H Shetty from Moodbidri, Karnataka, topped the exam, followed by Malik Jain from Punjab and Varun J Kumar from Karnataka in second and third positions respectively. The top 10 list includes students from diverse states such as Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh. Notably, 55 out of the top 100 rank holders are from Karnataka, highlighting the state's robust academic performance. In terms of percentile distribution, 3,330 Karnataka candidates scored within the 90th–100th percentile band, 3,050 were in the 80th–90th percentile, and 3,296 fell in the 70th–80th percentile. Bengaluru The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) announced Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET-2025) results on Friday and Shishir H. Shetty from Moodbidri, Dakshina Kannada district, secured the first rank. Second and the third ranks were bagged by Maulik Jain from Punjab and Varun J. Kumar from Bengaluru, respectively. Of the top 10, only four students are from Karnataka. Other rank holders are Vennapusa Harshavardhan Reddy from Andhra Pradesh (4), Nitesh Anand from Bihar (5), N.B. Ritesh Varshan from Uttar Pradesh (6) Manojna Shreevijay Kalburgi from Bengaluru (7), G. Saikiran from Bengaluru (8), Anurag Chaudhary from Uttar Pradesh (9) and Bhupathi Nithin Agnihotri from Andhra Pradesh (10). Interestingly, all the top 10 rank holders are boys this time. Of the top 100 ranks, students from Karnataka bagged 55 ranks. As many as 69 Candidates challenged the answer keys. 'Taking into consideration the advice of the Expert Committee, which went into these clarifications,' says the statement by COMEDK. The authorities even clarified that the counselling would be conducted online and the candidates have to upload the scanned copies of the documents through their login. These uploaded documents will be verified by the panel of expert verification officers.
