Bruno Mars Returns To No. 1 — And This Week Is Special For His Smash

Throughout the decades, both Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga have stood out as some of the biggest names in pop music. They've scored hit after hit, with radio play helping to keep many of their tunes alive and turning them into generation-defining smashes. The two artists have produced the kind of songs that don't just perform well initially, but which linger on the airwaves for years.
Their first collaboration, "Die With a Smile," has proved to be another one of those unceasing successes. As of this week, it's a special kind of win for the two musicians — one they've never experienced before.
'Die with a Smile' returns to No. 1 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart this week, stepping up from the runner-up spot back to the summit. It trades places with "Messy" by newcomer Lola Young, which recently took a turn running the show. The Gaga and Mars duet has now spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Adult Pop Airplay tally.
"Die With a Smile" is the first 10-week ruler for both superstars on Billboard's list of the tracks that earn the highest number of audience impressions at U.S. radio stations catering to an adult-leaning pop sound.
Somewhat surprisingly, "Die With a Smile" gave Gaga her first No. 1 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart when it reached the peak position in December of last year. It outpaced several of her previous hits that stalled at No. 2, including "The Edge of Glory" and her Oscar-winning collaboration with Bradley Cooper, "Shallow."
Mars has claimed four No. 1s on the Adult Pop Airplay list, but none have come close to racking up as many weeks at the top as "Die With a Smile." In fact, with 10 frames in charge, it has now outperformed the combined total of his other three champions: "Just the Way You Are," "Uptown Funk" with Mark Ronson, and "When I Was Your Man." The cut even manages to double the stay of his second-longest leader, "Just the Way You Are," which hit No. 1 nearly 15 years ago and spent five frames ruling.

Hailee Steinfeld marries Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen

Actress Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen have tied the knot. Steinfeld and the Buffalo Bills quarterback wed in a ceremony in California on Saturday, according to People magazine, who published photos from the event. CNN has reached out to a representative for Steinfeld for comment. The 'Sinners' star and Allen have been romantically linked since 2023 and debuted their relationship the following year, when Allen posted a photo with Steinfeld overlooking the Eiffel Tower in Paris. In 2024, the pair announced their engagement on their Instagram pages, sharing a photo of Allen bent on one knee during what looked like an elaborate proposal, complete with dozens of candles and a pink floral display. Earlier this year, Steinfeld said in an interview with Who What Wear that Allen made sure she was dressed up for the day and still caught her completely by surprise. 'I'm so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good, and we have these photos that we'll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I'm not looking at being like, 'What was I wearing?'' she said. 'We were in Malibu, which is my happy place, and it was magical. That's the word.' Steinfeld broke out after starring in 2010's 'True Grit' at age 13. She earned an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress for the role, becoming one of the youngest actors to ever to do so in that category. She's also known for 'Pitch Perfect 3,' the AppleTV+ series 'Dickinson,' and her career as a musician. She recently starred in Ryan Coogler-directed horror-thriller 'Sinners.' The couple is known for being private, something Steinfeld said they are intentional about. 'When you realize that so much is already out there in every other aspect of your life, you really learn to cherish the little that isn't,' she added in the interview. 'It just makes things extra special, and it's just for you.'

A couple, new to South Florida, get ready to withstand their first hurricane season

People new to Florida are getting ready for their first hurricane season People new to Florida are getting ready for their first hurricane season People new to Florida are getting ready for their first hurricane season The 2025 hurricane season is now underway. With an average of more than 1,200 people moving to Florida each day, many will be experiencing their first season in the state. Two of those people are Joe Rosen and Darlene Turner. The couple got married and moved to West Palm Beach at the end of 2024. From picking mangoes in their backyard to taking their pup to the dog park, they are soaking it all in. Rosen is from Canada, and Turner is from Vermont. "I mean, sure, we have to batten down the hatches, and we've got to gather anything that can be thrown around that's outdoors. That I know," said Rosen. The couple said they've heard a lot about hurricanes from their neighbors. "They really said they can be really bad, sometimes they're not so bad," said Turner. She and Rosen said the best advice they received was on how to prepare for the hurricane season. "Some people say they get generators. Make sure you've got canned food and bottled water, and a transistor radio," Rosen said. "So we're going to have to get all of that." The couple said they have some food and bottled water, but will be getting more. They also plan to pay extra attention to the news this season to make sure they are aware and informed. If a storm is headed this way, the couple plans to shore up their home and stay put, unless they're told to evacuate. The two said that as they get ready for the season, they hope it will be calm in South Florida. "I'm going to do a lot of praying come hurricane season," said Rosen.
