With confirmation of Wilder's departure expected shortly, United are believed to have entered advanced negotiations with Sellés, who was sacked by Hull last month.

The Spaniard was left bitterly disappointed by that, having narrowly kept the East Yorkshire side in the Championship after his appointment last December.
Wilder, too, is believed to be deeply upset by the decision of COH Sports, the consortium that owns United, to end his second spell in charge. He was contracted to 2028 and the delay in announcing his exit appears connected to negotiations regarding compensation.
Despite starting the past season with a two-point deduction for financial irregularities, the Blades remained in strong contention for automatic promotion until almost the end before losing the playoff final 2-1 to Sunderland.

Although much of the fanbase appeared in favour of retaining the 57-year-old, who led the Blades from League One to the Premier League in successive seasons during his first stint, Wilder is understood to have disagreed with the owners' enthusiasm for a heavily data-driven player recruitment system.
COH Sports took over last December after buying out Prince Abdullah and, by the end of January, were so impressed with Wilder they offered him a three year contract extension.
Sellés had brief spells in charge of Southampton and Reading after starting his coaching career in charge of Valencia University's first XI. Despite an ostensibly patchy managerial record, he has won plenty of admirers since arriving in England and is noted as a skilled developer of young players.

Is Trump Mobile available in Tennessee? What about the T1 phone? What to know
President Donald Trump's family brand, the Trump Organization, has launched another revenue stream, Trump Mobile. The newly unveiled cellular service and mobile phone under the company umbrella uses Trump's name and his time in the White House to help advertise the latest business venture. Trump Mobile is expected to offer a network 5G service with "The 47 Plan," along with its own smartphone. "Trump Mobile is going to change the game, we're building on the movement to put America first, and we will deliver the highest levels of quality and service," Donald Trump Jr. said in a news release. Here's a look into the mobile plan and whether it will be available in Tennessee. Trump Mobile is an e-SIM card that is compatible with most Android phones. Users will need to see if their phone is compatible to be able to use the network. You can find out at Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization, said in an interview on Fox Business' "Mornings with Maria" on June 16 that the service will operate in the United States. "The 47 Plan," which is expected to be the cell services' flagship plan, is expected to cost $47.45 per month, a nod to Trump's two terms in office. Here's what the Trump Organization says it will include: Unlimited talk, text and data Complete device protection 24/7 roadside assistance through Drive America Telehealth services, including virtual medical care, mental health support, and easy ordering and delivery for prescription medications Free International calling to more than 100 countries, including many with American military bases No contracts, no credit check According to the Trump Mobile website, people wanting to switch can call 888-TRUMP45 to talk to someone about getting Trump Mobile. The news release on the start of Trump Mobile did not say which carriers would support it, just that they were "working with all three major carriers." Yes, Trump Mobile is available in Tennessee for those with Android-based devices. The gold smartphone, the organization has dubbed the "T1," is not yet available. Once it is launched, the phone will retail for $499 with a down payment of $100. The Trump Organization is Trump's holding company for his business ventures. USA TODAY contributed to this story. Former Longhorn DeShon Elliott signs two-year extension with Steelers
Former Longhorn DeShon Elliott signs two-year extension with Steelers At Texas, Elliott starred in the secondary, earning first-team All-Big 12 and unanimous All-American honors as a junior in 2017. Former Texas Longhorns standout safety DeShon Elliott has signed a two-year, $12.5 million contract extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers, including $9.21 million in guarantees, according to multiple reports. The new deal secures Elliott's place in Pittsburgh through the 2027 NFL season. Elliott, 28, is coming off one of the best seasons of his NFL career. In 2024, he appeared in 15 games—starting 14—and posted a career-high 108 total tackles, six passes defended, one interception, two forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries. He also allowed a passer rating of just 88.8 as the nearest defender, marking his lowest coverage rating since his rookie campaign in 2019. The Dallas native originally joined the Steelers on a two-year, $6 million free-agent deal before the 2024 season. After just one year, Elliott has more than doubled his value, earning a significant raise and long-term security as a key figure in the Steelers' secondary. Elliott entered the league as a sixth-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2018 NFL Draft, though he missed his entire rookie season due to injury. He spent three seasons in Baltimore before signing one-year contracts with the Detroit Lions (2022) and Miami Dolphins (2023), ultimately landing in Pittsburgh, where he has become a cornerstone of the defense. At Texas, Elliott starred in the secondary, earning first-team All-Big 12 and unanimous All-American honors as a junior in 2017. That season, he led the conference with six interceptions—two of which he returned for touchdowns.
