Glee cast then and now from tragic deaths to pop star romances and reality TV

Daily Record25-05-2025

It's been over a decade since Glee was on our TV screens since first airing in 2015, but where are some of the cast of McKinley High School now?
Glee still has a hold on its huge fanbase over a decade on from the show's series finale. It first premiered on May 19, 2009, now marking 11 years on from one of the best-loved musical series. The programme narrated the highs and lows of Spanish teacher Will Schuester, embodied by actor Matthew Morrison, as he attempted to breathe new life into William McKinley High School's glee club, which was on the edge of disaster.
Over the series' six seasons, which came to an end on March 20, 2015, its soundtracks regularly hit the top 100 charts, showcasing its well-earned right that it wasn't just a TV show. Its popularity saw it launch a 2010 concert tour and the careers of stars including Lea Michele and Darren Criss.
Now, over a decade after the McKinley High School glee club performed for the very last time, what have the cast has been doing since Glee came to an end?
Sadly there's been more than one tragic death in the cast, dramas behind filming, joining Beyonce on stage and dipping their toes in reality TV. Some cast members are now loved-up with kids of their own. Let's take a closer look...

Katie Price sends son Harvey back to college early after he 'smashes' £3k TV

Katie Price previously revealed that Harvey is "on the verge of a heart attack" after tipping the scales at 30 stone Katie Price has revealed that her son Harvey had to return to college earlier than planned after he wrecked her telly. The ex-glamour model took to Snapchat to recount the episode in which her eldest boy "smashed" the £3,000 set. Harvey, aged 23, left his mum gobsmacked when his tantrum resulted in the need for a fresh TV. The mother of five relayed the tale to her social media fans before explaining to her son the repercussions of his behaviour. ‌ In the video, Katie captured Harvey, who is visually impaired due to septo-optic dysplasia, a brain development disorder, and also has autism and Prader-Willi Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that can lead to overeating. ‌ She described being roused by the noise of the telly breaking at six in the morning. In the footage, Katie, 47, enquired: "What has mummy just heard?" To which Harvey calmly responded: "Smashing the TV." Asking more about what happened, Harvey claimed something on the screen had annoyed him. However, she later expressed scepticism to her followers, saying nothing was probably on the screen at the time, reports the Mirror. Katie then informed Harvey: "You was going to college tomorrow to get some new meds [medication], but now when are you going? You are going now." A downcast Harvey uttered: "Oh god," as his mum clarified that she needed to send him back so she could sort out a new telly for the house. She labelled the whole scenario as "sad". Later, Harvey said sorry to the former glamour model and promised it wouldn't occur again. ‌ Katie insisted to her son: "Well you've got to go to collage now and get some meds." Katie commemorated Harvey's 23rd birthday last month with a heartfelt display of affection. She posted a lovely snapshot on Instagram showing her and Harvey cosying up in bed before his birthday festivities. ‌ On Bank Holiday Monday, Katie shared her delight over Harvey reaching another milestone on her Instagram stories. The charming post featured the pair lying cheek-to-cheek in bed, having a leisurely day relaxing at home. Brimming with anticipation for the celebration ahead, Katie said: "Bank holiday cuddles before lots of celebrations tomorrow." ‌ It comes amid Katie's transparency about Harvey's escalating health issues as he tipped the scales at 30 stone. In a frank conversation with her sister Sophie on The Katie Price Show, Katie did not shy away from discussing the gravity of their circumstances. "He's just under 30st and that's huge," she disclosed. "He's on the verge of a heart attack. He won't have a long life if he carries on putting more and more weight on." Katie then revealed that they are actively collaborating with a medical team to attempt to improve his health. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Amanda Holden, 54, sends fans wild with her latest bikini pics

Amanda Holden sent fans wild as she stripped down to a tiny pink bikini in her latest social media video. The 54-year-old Britain's Got Talent judge donned matching pink heels to strut around a swimming pool on the Spanish holiday island of Majorca. Looking more like she was walking down a catwalk, the age-defying broadcaster and actress looked tanned and toned as her long blonde hair billowed behind her in the short clip, as Calvin Harris' latest track Blessings played over the top. In the caption, Amanda revealed she was in Majorca to film an ad campaign for Revive Collagen. She wrote: "Shooting a new campaign for @revivecollagen #mallorca," before revealing her bikini was by swimwear brand Melissa Odabash, which is loved by celebrities. And fans couldn't quite believe what they were seeing, as one wrote in the comments: "Imagine being in your 50's and looking that good in a bikini," as another replied: "Right?" As many more posted heart and flame emojis, a third said: "Looking fabulous!!!" A fourth declared her "perfection", as a fifth commented "what a body." A sixth joked: "Look amazing, wish I could walk in those shoes!" Her celebrity pals were equally in awe. Ex-EastEnders' star Jo Joyner wrote: "You're ridiculously hot" followed by a flame emoji. "There she is," said former The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers. Vicky Pattinson simply wrote: "AMANDA!!!!" with four flame emojis. While her Heart FM co-star, former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts commented: "Jheeez." It comes days after Amanda went 'naked' during her radio show following yet more Ofcom complaints about her outfits on Britain's Got Talent. Her appearance even made her co-host Jamie Theakston do a double take. As she sat in her DJ chair on Thursday morning, Amanda said on air: "Good morning, Mr Theakston. It is 6.30am and I've just caught myself on the camera and don't you think I look naked this morning? Sat behind here?" Jamie replied: "Do you know what... you are wearing clothes, aren't you?" But though it looked like she might not be, Amanda was in fact just wearing a pink strapless dress which wasn't visible behind her monitor. Joking about her choice of outfit for the day, Amanda said: "I just looked [at myself] and went, 'What? Have I forgotten to put my clothes on?'" Amanda's BGT finale dress, which looked almost bridal in a white silk fabric with a low cut front, wasn't a hit with some viewers at home who complained that both her and co-star Alesha Dixon's frocks were "too revealing for a family show". Ofcom revealed they'd received 72 complaints in total. But thought she is regularly under fire for her risque outfits, Amanda has vowed to never tone down her fashion choices. In July 2017, Amanda wore a plunging see-through Julien Macdonald dress, which went on to be the most complained about TV moment of the year. She's previously revealed how all her outfits are checked before she goes on stage and joked there's an even a 't*t committee' who tell her whether she's alright to wear a dress or not. "There's a whole body of people that knock on my door and come and stare at my chest before we go on air," she shared. "There's a t*t committee. There are so many brilliant people, they come down, knock on the door and there's the lady, who's the producer, who says, 'Mandy, it looks great'." In another interview, Amanda told Closer magazine: "I'm always asked about the Ofcom complaints, but every outfit on the show is checked before I leave my dressing room, so I'm never worried. I think people should have fun with fashion!" On her most complained about dress, she added: "It's all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about. It's been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up."
