Diddy trial live: Hear chilling voice notes mogul sent 'victim' after she denied twisted 'freak off'
Sean ' Diddy ' Combs's trial for sex trafficking and racketeering is entering its fifth week on Monday in New York City after the court heard chilling voice notes from the rapper.
The disgraced music mogul, 55, is facing life in prison if convicted of the claims that he used his fame and money to coerce women and employees into sexual and criminal activities for two decades.
His ex-girlfriend, who is testifying under the pseudonym of Jane, will be back on the stand after telling the jury last week that she was forced to participate in frequent sexual performances with male sex workers to please Diddy.
Jane's testimony, which is likely to continue deep into next week, is identical in many ways to the four-day testimony in the trial's first week by Cassie. Jane said she never wanted to have sex with other men but did it to please Diddy because she loved him.
Diddy has pleaded not guilty. His lawyers concede he could be violent, but he denies using threats or his music industry clout to commit abuse.
LISTEN: Diddy berates ex after she declines 'freak off,' tells her to 'get on her job'
Prosecutors played an audio note from 2023 where Diddy tells Jane to 'get on her job' after she said she was not available for a freak off.
'I'm about to really disappear on you, you feel me?' the annoyed mogul said on the voice note, adding that Jane had a 'rude awakening' coming to her.
'You better get on your job, that's all it is,' he said. 'Because you got me on my job.'
Jane said she understood her job to be keeping Diddy happy, which included having sex with male escorts as the mogul watched.
Diddy's 'job,' meanwhile was providing financial support for Jane by providing her $10,000 a month.

'I'm not a porn star': 'Diddy' accuser says she asked to stop sex performances
NEW YORK, June 9 (Reuters) - One of Sean "Diddy" Combs' former girlfriends testified on Monday in the hip-hop mogul's sex trafficking trial that she told him in text messages that she felt mistreated in their relationship and asked to stop taking part in sexual performances with other men. "I'm not a porn star. I'm not an animal," the woman, testifying under the pseudonym Jane to protect her privacy, wrote Combs on October 16, 2023, according to a text message she read aloud in court. "It's loveless for me and nothing satisfies you and you always push me to do more and more." The messages could bolster prosecutors' contention that Combs, 55, for two decades coerced women to take part in the sexual performances, sometimes known as "Freak Offs," against their will. Combs is charged with using physical force and threatening to cut off financial support to get women to take part in the drug-fueled, sometimes days-long performances in hotel rooms while he watched. Combs, the founder of Bad Boy Records, has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. His lawyers have acknowledged that Combs was occasionally abusive in domestic relationships, but say the women who took part in Freak Offs did so consensually. Jane, the third alleged sex abuse victim of Combs to testify at his trial in Manhattan federal court, told jurors last week that she was "head over heels" for Combs at the outset of their relationship, which lasted from 2021 through 2024. She testified that most of the time they spent together involved sex performances with male escorts in hotel rooms, even though she wanted to go on dates with just Combs. She said Combs - whose net worth Forbes estimated at above $1 billion in 2022 - threatened to stop paying her rent when she said she wanted to stop having sex with other men. Combs' defense lawyers are due to cross-examine Jane later this week. The trial is in its fifth week. Combs could face life in prison if convicted on all counts. Also known throughout his career as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, Combs turned artists like Notorious B.I.G. and Usher into stars, elevating hip-hop in American culture and becoming a billionaire in the process.

Report: Texans work out former Raider Damon Arnette Jr.
June 9 - The Houston Texans worked out former first-round pick Damon Arnette Jr., who has not played in the NFL since legal problems derailed his career in 2022. KPRC2 reported that Arnette worked out for the Texans on Monday ahead of the team's minicamp. The Texans are searching for secondary depth. The recent retirement of veteran cornerback Ronald Darby created uncertainty on the depth chart. Arnette, 28, was selected No. 19 overall by the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2020 draft. He played in 13 games (seven starts) before Arnette was hit with felony gun charges stemming from an incident at a Las Vegas casino in January 2022. Arnette was accused of brandishing a .45-caliber handgun during an argument with casino valets. Arnette was sentenced to community service and fined $2,000 in August 2023 after agreeing to a plea deal. The Raiders released Arnette in November 2021 amid two lawsuits and a troubling video posted by the defensive back. The video showed Arnette repeatedly threatening to kill someone while brandishing what appeared to be semi-automatic weapons. The Kansas City Chiefs, who had signed Arnette to a reserve contract, released him after the arrest at the casino. Arnette most recently played for the Houston Roughnecks of the UFL, racking up 18 tackles and an interception last season. Injuries limited Arnette to 13 games (seven starts) in his one-plus seasons with the Raiders. He didn't record any interceptions and had 29 tackles. --Field Level Media
