2 Illinois Lottery players win top prizes in online FastPlay games
Two lottery players in Illinois won top prizes in FastPlay games over the weekend, lottery officials announced on Monday.
Both top prizes were won on Saturday.
Lottery officials said the first winner played the "Twenty 20s" game and won over $597,000. The second player won $250,000 after playing the "Magnificent Multiplier. "
Twenty 20s is a progressive jackpot game. It starts at $50,000 and grows with each ticket sold statewide until there's a winner. The Magnificent Multiplier is a $20 game with a $250,000 top prize.
FastPlay games require no numbers, scratching, or waiting for winning numbers.
Tickets for the games can be bought in-store, online, or on the Illinois Lottery app.

So, where was the lucky ticket sold? It came from Blue Ridge Tobacco & Candle Outlet in Winston-Salem, lottery officials wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. To win in the Red Hot Numbers game, a player must look for a fire icon or match the hot numbers printed on their ticket. Because the Winston-Salem winner spent $5 on their ticket, they won half of the total jackpot prize. As of 9:45 a.m. May 22, officials said the $155,000 winner hadn't claimed their prize. In North Carolina, the winners of Fast Play games have about six months to cash in, rules show.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, stepped up to claim the prize on May 5, telling state lottery officials he purchased the $20 Mega Bucks ticket on a whim. "It was a typical morning like any other – until it wasn't," he told the Illinois Lottery. "I was on my way to work and I stopped at a gas station to buy a cup of coffee. At the checkout, I decided to grab a scratch-off lottery ticket, too – a purple one lit up on the screen at the exact second I looked at it, so I said, 'I'll take that one.'" The winner, who was in disbelief after he scratched off the ticket numbers, returned to the convenience store to scan the ticket "just to be sure." $2.3 million won from three Pennsylvania Lottery jackpots in May
(WTAJ) — Three big winners in Pennsylvania can look forward to a summer of vacations with a total of $2.3 million being won over the past five days. The big winner was a $10 'Jumbo Bucks' scratch-off worth $1,000,000. It was sold at Goshen Beverage Center on Turner Lane in West Chester Next was a $20 Fast Play game worth $798,244. The game, Deep Pockets, offers a progressive jackpot that starts at $350,000. It was sold at Mason Grocery on Lyceum Avenue in Philadelphia. Finally, another $20 Fast Play, Money Tree, had a jackpot of $492,970. The winning ticket was sold at Kwik Fill on Route 68 in Clarion. Goshen Beverage Center and Mason Grocery will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling their big winning tickets. Kwik Fill will receive a $500 May 5 jackpot is an estimated $54 million.
