Kareena Kapoor
Khan is one of Bollywood's most loved stars, and even after more than 20 years in the film industry, she continues to impress. Whether she's showing off her famous size-zero look or embracing her post-pregnancy body, Bebo has always inspired fans to be confident in their skin.
But her secret to staying fit at 44? It's not about being skinny—it's all about strength.
Her trainer Mahesh Ghanekar reveals that Kareena focuses on gaining strength, lifting heavy weights, and training her mind and body to take on challenges far beyond the gym.
Fitness that goes beyond looks
The 'Jab We Met' actress doesn't chase unrealistic beauty standards. Mahesh told Hindustan Times, 'For her, it's not about being skinny but about working on that strength.'
Her focus is now on building a body that feels strong and energetic. She trains four times a week, doing weight training, functional movements, and heart-rate-based circuit workouts. And it's not just about sweating—it's about pushing herself in every session.
'She is working on gaining strength by picking up heavy weights, sweating it out with intensive exercises and rewiring the brain and body to take on challenges that go beyond the gym floor,' shares Ghanekar.

Consistency is key
Kareena's routine may look intense, but the magic lies in her consistency. Ghanekar shares, 'Kareena has been working out with me for over two years, but for the last five months, we have built consistency. She has been doing strength training with me at least four times a week - 2 days on, 1 day off. It gives the body time to recover.'
Each workout lasts for about an hour or more. 'We train for an hour, sometimes more, and do 14–15 variations per session.
It is all High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), but she is fully present and ready to take on any challenge. That's what makes it fun,' he adds. Her routine is tough, but Kareena is always ready to go. That mindset, her trainer says, makes a big difference.
The heart of the workout
Kareena's training includes a smart focus on heart rate. This isn't your usual treadmill workout. Ghanekar explains, 'We push the heart rate to 135 and above, sometimes hitting 170 or 180, then focus on how quickly it recovers before the next set begins.
The faster the recovery, the fitter you are.'
Their goal? 'We aim to burn 400–500 calories per hour, without machines. I believe that your brain should be as challenged as your body. If you are doing well internally, you will end up looking good from outside.'
A shift in weight and mindset
It's not just about dropping a few kilos. Kareena's body and mind have changed through this journey. 'Her weight has dropped from 67.5 kgs to around 64 kgs.
We are targeting another 2–3 kgs. Kareena has also reduced inches from her biceps and body, in general. Weight training is working very well for her and she can feel the strength growing,' shares Ghanekar.
Kareena doesn't limit herself to a gym. She finds ways to keep her workouts exciting and challenging—even at home. 'To break the monotony and to keep the fitness routine challenging, Kareena Kapoor also works out using the walls and staircases in her house! What helps? That she loves a challenge - and is willing to exercise outdoors, instead of always working out in an air-conditioned gym.'
A role model for women in their 40s
Kareena's trainer believes she's setting a powerful example.Ghanekar says, 'When a celebrity like Kareena Kapoor endorses a form of fitness, it sets a good example. And the importance of strength training for women in the 40s is non-negotiable.'

Written and directed by S. Prem Anand, this fourth instalment in the Dhilluku Dhuddu franchise features Santhanam as Kissa, a brutally honest YouTube film critic who finds himself pulled into the very movie he's been invited to review. What starts as a private screening turns into a twisted supernatural trap when Kissa's family and fellow reviewers are sucked into a cursed film, all orchestrated by Hitchcock Iruthyaraj—a failed filmmaker turned vengeful ghost. Packed with Tamil cinema tropes, ghostly surprises, and self-referential humour, DD Next Level offers a wild, meta-cinematic ride that explores not just scares, but also the ethics of film criticism itself. Alappuzha Gymkhana SonyLIV June 13 Alappuzha Gymkhana arrives on SonyLIV after a theatrical run that resonated with fans of grounded sports dramas. Directed by Khalid Rahman, the film dives deep into the lives of five school-leaving friends—Jojo, DJ, Valthu, Cherthu, and Shanavas—who are grappling with their failed 12th-grade exams and a bleak future in small-town Alappuzha. While one of them manages to pass, the rest find themselves lost and searching for purpose. Set against the backdrop of an old-school boxing club, the film tells a coming-of-age story with heart, grit, and resilience. With strong performances and an emotionally layered narrative, this underdog tale is as much about friendship and failures as it is about the ring. This Malayalam action thriller is directed with intensity and flair, telling the story of rebellion, power, and justice. 5 GTA 6 characters who are much more than just side characters

(Image via Rockstar Games) GTA 6 is shaping up to be Rockstar's most layered game yet, not just in terms of gameplay, but in how it writes its characters. From the sun-soaked streets of Vice City to the swampy underbelly of Grassrivers, the people you meet are more than just mission-givers. They have pasts, motives, and secrets. Here are five characters who are clearly hiding more than they show. 1. Cal Hampton At first glance, Cal seems like your typical tinfoil-hat-wearing loner. He drinks beer, listens to Coast Guard comms, and spouts off about birds flying in formation. But here's the thing: in GTA, paranoia often points to the truth. Cal isn't just comic relief; he's plugged into something bigger. If there's a government plot or criminal web behind the scenes, Cal might be the first one to see it coming. Why Raul Bautista is The Next Big GTA Legend? 2. Raul Bautista Raul has experience, charm, and a reputation. But beneath that cool exterior is someone who pushes every job to its breaking point. Rockstar calls him 'reckless,' and that's never a good sign. His obsession with bigger scores and bigger risks could blow up everything or reveal a deeper motive. Is he chasing adrenaline, or trying to run from something? Either way, Raul is dangerous. 3. Dre'Quan Priest Dre'Quan says he's just a music guy trying to make it big. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với sàn môi giới tin cậy IC Markets Tìm hiểu thêm Undo But look closer, he's connected to Boobie Ike, runs a label with viral stars, and has his hands in Vice City's club scene. That's a lot of influence for someone who 'used to deal just to make ends meet.' Dre'Quan might talk smooth, but he knows how the streets work. He's not just chasing fame; he's building something. Maybe something illegal. 4. Brian Heder Brian looks like an old Keys burnout: beach hair, flip-flops, third wife. But don't be fooled. He's a veteran drug runner with deep connections, and he's letting Jason live rent-free for a reason. He's not retired. He's just smart enough to work from the shadows. If things go sideways in the Keys, there's a good chance Brian was behind it. HIS NAME IS BOOBIE IKE? | GTA 6 5. Boobie Ike Boobie owns a strip club, a studio, and real estate, and he's got that friendly, 'just business' vibe. But remember: he says, 'drug money pays for it all.' That line isn't a throwaway; it's a warning. Boobie plays the long game. He smiles while he builds an empire, and people like that are rarely safe to trust. Don't mistake charm for innocence. In GTA 6, the real threat might not come from obvious enemies; it's the smiling allies, the smooth talkers, and the quiet veterans who will shape the story. These five are clearly more than they appear, and when things heat up in Leonida, they may be the ones holding the real power.

What your sitting style in the office says about your professional power and leadership potential

Let's face it—your office chair knows more about you than your boss does. It's seen you slouch through deadline dread, swivel in passive-aggressive Zoom meetings, and lean in like you're about to take over the world (or at least the next project pitch). But did you know the way you sit—yep, something as basic as your posture—can actually reveal loads about your confidence, decision-making mojo, and leadership style? Grab your coffee, sit back (or upright!), and let's decode what your sitting style says about your inner CEO vibes. Please note, this is not a perfect personality analysis, it is based on observation and can vary from individual to individual. The power percher Posture style: Perched on the edge of the chair like you're about to take flight. What it screams: Eager. Alert. Possibly over-caffeinated. This is the posture of people who don't just walk into meetings—they launch. You're that person who always has a follow-up question, a Plan B, and a colour-coded Google Sheet to back it up. Sitting at the edge shows you're actively engaged and ready to pounce on a task. Leadership read: You're seen as hungry and energetic, which bosses love. Just be careful—perching 24/7 can come across as anxious energy. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 今すぐ、2025年最高のRPGゲームを制覇しよう! BuzzDaily Winners ゲームをプレイ Undo Take a breath. You've already impressed them. The reclining royalty Posture style: Leaned way back, legs crossed, arms possibly behind your head. What it screams: 'I've got this.' Or 'I've stopped trying. Guess which.' This could go one of two ways: You're either the cool, calm strategist who doesn't flinch under pressure—or the guy who hasn't contributed in three meetings. Confidence is great, but recline too far and you risk looking checked out. Leadership read: If you talk as smooth as you sit, people will assume you're a natural leader. But throw in a little engagement—nod, make eye contact, look interested—to keep the aura from turning into arrogance. The slouch zombie Posture style: Spine curved like a wilting plant, shoulders hunched, eyes half-mast. What it screams: 'Help.' Or 'I regret all my life choices.' Look, we get it. Burnout is real. But consistent slouching in meetings doesn't exactly scream 'future team lead.' It shows low energy, low confidence, and a possible over-reliance on lukewarm vending machine coffee. Leadership read: People tend to mirror what they see. If you're always slouching, it may lower how colleagues perceive your motivation and reliability. Try a small posture upgrade—it doesn't have to be military-straight, just 'awake and aware.' The crossed-arms commander Posture style: Arms folded tightly across the chest, back straight, slight lean back. What it screams: 'I'm listening, but I'm judging you.' Crossed arms get a bad rap. While often seen as defensive, in some contexts, it just means you're focused and holding back thoughts for when they're actually useful (bless you). But it can also look rigid or unapproachable. Leadership read: If you're aiming to lead, warmth is just as important as strength. Try opening up your posture when brainstorming or giving feedback—it makes you more relatable and shows emotional intelligence, a key trait of strong leaders. The swivel addict Posture style: Constantly swiveling, fidgeting, bouncing your leg like you're charging for takeoff. What it screams: 'I have 97 tabs open in my brain.' Swiveling is the physical manifestation of multitasking. You're sharp, fast-thinking, and probably running on three different Slack channels at once. But all that movement can be distracting—and can make people wonder if you're truly present. Leadership read: Controlled energy is powerful. If you can channel your restlessness into clear action points and big-picture thinking, you'll be seen as a dynamic, go-getter leader. Just maybe swivel a little less in one-on-ones. The tech turtle Posture style: Neck extended toward the laptop, face 6 inches from the screen. What it screams: 'I must finish this report even if it breaks my spine.' You're focused, yes—but also possibly melting into your monitor. This posture shows you're detail-oriented and locked in, but it can read as withdrawn or overly task-focused during meetings. Leadership read: Good leaders zoom out as well as in. Occasionally lean back, make eye contact with humans (not just spreadsheets), and show you can balance micro-details with macro thinking. So… does posture = power? Not entirely. You won't land a promotion just because you sit like a TED Talk speaker. But posture sends micro-signals—subtle cues that shape how people perceive your authority, energy, and mindset. Body language doesn't lie. A confident sitting style can project ownership, readiness, and influence—without you having to say a word. The good news? It's a skill you can tweak without paying for a leadership course. Quick fixes for the win Feet flat. Grounded feet = grounded presence. Open chest. It shows you're receptive, not closed off. Sit tall, not stiff. Think 'strong tree,' not 'metal rod.' Move with purpose. Fidget less, focus more. In a world of endless emails and meetings, your posture might be the loudest voice in the room. So the next time you settle into that office chair, ask yourself: Am I sitting like someone who's ready to lead? If not, a tiny shift in how you sit might just be the power move you didn't know you needed. One step to a healthier you—join Times Health+ Yoga and feel the change
