Sabrina Carpenter walks the Grammys red carpet and stuns crowd
Sabrina Carpenter is already a winner as she arrives at the Grammys red carpet.
Entertain This!
Sabrina Carpenter has a special Valentine's Day gift in store.
The "Espresso" songstress announced Tuesday that she would release a deluxe version of her latest album "Short n' Sweet" on Feb. 14. The project will feature five new tracks including a remix version of her summer smash-hit "Please Please Please," now a duet with Dolly Parton.
Other new tracks announced include "15 Minutes," "Couldn't Make It Any Harder," "Busy Woman" and "Bad Reviews."
The collaboration with Parton feels in ways inevitable as Carpenter's use of exaggerated sexuality and '50s pin-up glam exists directly downstream of the country music star's signature iconography.
Both women are fond of a well-placed innuendo and have flipped the industry's sexualization of their figures for their own benefit.

In recent years, Parton has leant her voice to collaborations with younger stars, including Beyoncé for "Tyrant" off "Cowboy Carter," Pitbull for "Powerful Women" and Kelly Clarkson for a remix of "9 to 5."
Already a cultural constant, the duets continue to reintroduce Parton to new audiences and reaffirm her relevancy. A rare artist whose popularity remains steady across generations, the country crooner's presence on "Please Please Please" specifically makes sense given her penchant for a scorned woman-centered track.
Carpenter's announcement comes on the heels of a blockbuster year. After opening for Taylor Swift during the early legs of the Eras Tour, Carpenter parlayed budding fame into a massive tour of her own following the release of "Short n' Sweet."
Her songs "Espresso" and "Please Please Please," became instant earworms, her irony-laced lyrics cementing her place as both as a formidable singer-songwriter and a sassy narrator.
On Sunday night, her popular success turned to critical acclaim as she took home Grammy Awards for best pop solo performance and best pop vocal album. She was nominated in four additional categories.

Miley Cyrus Schools Monica Lewinsky on the Meaning of ‘WAP'
Miley Cyrus educated Monica Lewinsky on the meaning of the acronym 'WAP' in a new episode of Lewinsky's podcast, Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky, offering a humorous yet insightful reflection on her past controversies. In an exclusive clip shared with Billboard ahead of the episode's release, Cyrus jokingly explains to Lewinsky, who admitted being unfamiliar with the term, exactly what 'WAP' means. Laughing, Cyrus replied, 'Are we telling Monica Lewinsky what WAP is about? Should I tell her?' before playfully clarifying, 'It stands for Wet A– P—-. Okay?' The 'Flowers' singer then compared her infamous 2013 MTV Video Music Awards performance, which faced significant backlash, to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's celebrated rendition of 'WAP' at the 2021 Grammys. 'It got performed at the Grammys. I dressed as a teddy bear and got shamed,' Cyrus remarked. 'But Cardi B isn't for kids. She's not a child star. For me, it was so hard to go but like why is Rihanna not in trouble? But it was because I was a kid star, so it's like the babysitter went rogue. I was like a babysitter for America's children.' Lewinsky's podcast Reclaiming features candid conversations where guests explore the concept of reclaiming narratives that have been taken or lost. The podcast engages a variety of recognizable figures, experts, and everyday people in open and often unexpected discussions. This episode's timing coincides with the release of Cyrus' ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, which debuted at No. 4 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The album continues Cyrus' tradition of chart success, following her previous No. 1 albums Breakout (2008), Bangerz (2013), and Endless Summer Vacation (2023). Fans can catch the full episode of Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky at 12 p.m. ET on June 10, available early and ad-free for Amazon Music subscribers and Wondery+ listeners. 'Tension' Rises Between Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom Amid Latest Backlash
and are reportedly hitting a few sour notes in their relationship. A new source claims that Katy Perry has been feeling the pressure following the release of her latest album "143," which dropped in September, and it is causing some "tension" with Orlando Bloom. The insider spoke with PEOPLE Magazine, claiming, 'Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album,' they shared. 'It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.' The album, a high-energy, love-fueled dance-pop collection, was designed to be a celebration. 'My vision was to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message,' Perry explained in a statement at the time, referring to the retro pager code meaning 'I love you.' But not everyone was feeling the love. A second source added, 'She was also disappointed in some of the tour reviews. It's put stress on their relationship.' Despite the criticism, Perry has powered through with a sold-out tour that's been met with enthusiastic fans overseas. After selling out three nights in Mexico, prompting the addition of an extra show, the singer is now performing to packed venues in Australia. The "Lifetimes" tour hits the U.S. beginning July 10 in Denver. As for the negative chatter? Perry isn't letting it define her. Back in February, she spoke candidly to PEOPLE about tuning out the noise. 'You shouldn't read it when it's good. You shouldn't read it when it's bad,' she said. 'My therapist said something that really changed my life. What anybody thinks about you is none of your business. It's what you think about yourself.' She also revealed that "143" was born out of 'a real shift' in her life after becoming a mom to daughter Daisy Dove, whom she welcomed with Bloom in August 2020. 'I really tapped into that feminine divine energy. The messages on it are celebratory. They're about love.' Perry and Bloom have been together for nearly a decade and got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019. While the couple has weathered ups and downs over the years, Perry recently showed she's still fiercely protective of her man. During her May 17 show at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the 'Teenage Dream' singer jokingly called out a fan in the audience for sliding into Bloom's DMs. 'Cute grin. I know why you're here,' she teased from the stage before launching into her song 'I'm his, he's mine.' 'Listen, if you keep DM'ing my man... Oh, Kyle? I know, I know. You've been doing it for months, ever since the residency,' she continued. 'If you keep on DM'ing my man, I'm going to have you removed. Seriously, get your own life.' When the fan tried to hand her something, Perry wasn't having it. 'I don't want it. I'm his. I said I'm his. Stay the f-ck away.' Bloom got candid about his relationship with Perry during a 2019 appearance on the "Today" show, emphasizing the importance of being on the same page before walking down the aisle again. 'It's important to me that we are aligned. I've been married and divorced, and I don't want to do it again,' Bloom shared at the time. 'And we're both fully aware of that. She's remarkable and so I'm always so impressed with that and I'm encouraged.' Three years after Orlando Bloom popped the question, Katy Perry opened up about their postponed wedding during an appearance on "The Kyle and Jackie O Show," explaining that the COVID-19 pandemic had put their wedding plans on hold. 'It's a destination location that like, you know, we're still trying for it to work out, but every couple of months it's like, 'New variant! New variant! New variant!'' she said. Last year, Perry opened up about attending couples therapy with Bloom and how it's helped strengthen their bond. Speaking on Chelsea Handler's "Dear Chelsea" podcast, the singer explained that therapy has played a key role in keeping their relationship grounded. 'We love it because it keeps us in tune,' she said. 'The resentment can get really strong when you're both working hard, and so when you want to come back to being normal in a domesticated world where you have a child and stuff like that, you have to really learn how to be kind of different out there in the big and in the small.'

Ed Sheeran Charts A Brand New No. 1 Album
Ed Sheeran is back at No. 1 on the main albums chart in the United Kingdom this week, during what has turned out to be a fairly quiet period when it comes to major titles vying for the throne. The singer-songwriter returns to the summit not with a brand new release, but with a collection that's already been out for months — and which has previously spent time running the show. As Sheeran prepares his next full-length, fans in his home country are still loving one of his more popular collections, which gathers together many of his most popular smashes. Their collective buying and streaming activity has pushed his compilation +-= Divide X - Tour Collection back to the top. The compilation lifts from No. 3 to No. 1 on the Official Albums chart as Sheeran regains control over the ranking of the most-consumed projects in the nation. +-= Divide X replaces another long-standing favorite — Short n' Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter. That title rebounded to the top for another stint last week, but dips just one spot this frame. Both pop efforts come in just ahead of the highest-rising debut of the week. Something Beautiful by Miley Cyrus earns that distinction as it opens at No. 3. Sheeran's +-= Divide X appears on four albums charts in the U.K. this week — and it leads half of them. The title reaches the top spot on the Official Albums Streaming chart for the first time, pushing from No. 2 to No. 1. It becomes Sheeran's sixth leader in its thirty-sixth frame on the list of the most-played full-lengths on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others. Pure purchases also aid +-= Divide X in becoming the most-consumed release in the U.K. at the moment. As it surges to No. 1 on the Official Albums Streaming chart, the project also reappears on both the Official Physical Albums and Official Albums Sales lists, breaking back into the top 10 after being absent from both rankings just days ago. +-= Divide X is now a bestseller on each, landing at No. 9 on the physical-only ranking and at No. 10 on the general roster of bestselling albums and EPs in the nation.
