Rhys McKee def. Daniel Frunza
Result: Rhys McKee def. Daniel Frunza via TKO (doctor's stoppage) – Round 1, 5:00
Updated records: McKee (14-6-1 MMA, 1-4 UFC), Frunza (9-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC)
Key stats: McKee knocked Frunza down four times in the first round.
McKee on the fight's key moment
'We knew this was a must-win fight. If I lost, I'd probably have my release papers by now. This was a must-win. And guess what the next one is? A must-win – no different. … (the game plan was) vicious – be vicious. Any chance I could hurt him, as many times as I could, pressure, drown him, make him exhausted – and when the chance was there, the finish came. We had to get it done via damage tonight, but win No. 14 – 14th finish.'
McKee on getting his first UFC win
'It's a relief. Four times, I've been here in the UFC and four times I've had to get the bus home early. I've always wanted to come to this (post-fight news conference) table, so to be here is a relief. But it's not job done – it's job started.
'… To be honest, I thought my UFC opportunity had slipped away. When I got the shot at No. 5, I thought 'This is my golden ticket. This is the time when it all changes' I just believed in myself. My coaches believed in me on the days I didn't believe in myself.'
McKee on what he wants next
'(I spent) two weeks in Las Vegas. I brought my wife, brought my daughter … spent two weeks in the (UFC Performance Institute). There ain't nothing tough about it. It's a hell of a life. Like we said this week, if you want this stuff, you have to win the fight. We won the fight. I would love my next fight to be in Vegas. I absolutely love it. The PI is fantastic.'
'This win has been 14 years in the making.'

Where to watch UFC 316: Live stream the Dvalishvili vs. O'Malley rematch
It's a bantamweight rematch for the ages at tonight's Newark Prudential Center UFC event. We've compiled everything you need to know about where to watch UFC 316, including a tentative schedule and a look at the fight card. Sean O'Malley of the United States is looking to earn back his bantamweight championship title after losing it to Merab Dvalishvili of Georgia in September 2024. O'Malley, who held the title for a little over a year, has an impressive 18-2-0 record, while Merab Dvalishvili has gone 19-4-0. Dvalishvili won the belt (by unanimous decision) at UFC 306 and has successfully passed through his first title defense against Umar Nurmagomedov at UFC 311 in January. Whether he can keep his momentum going is up to O'Malley. O'Malley and Dvalishvili aren't the only exciting fights on the UFC 316 fight card. The women's bantamweight title is also on the line as Julianna Peña looks to defend her belt from Kayla Harrison in the evening's co-main event. If you're a UFC fan in the US, you probably know the drill by now: you'll need an ESPN Plus subscription and a pay-per-view (PPV) event purchase to watch the main card. This is the only way to catch the event, even if you have cable. Fortunately, there's a limited-time ESPN Plus deal going right now that can help you save. We'll break down everything you need to know below. Where to watch UFC 316 in the US ESPN Plus is the only way to watch UFC main events in the US. You can't purchase the fight through your cable provider, so you'll need a subscription no matter what. ESPN Plus alone will allow you to watch the prelims, but you'll need to purchase the main card as a PPV event to watch Dvalishvili vs. O'Malley and the other main fights. ESPN Plus costs $11.99/month, and all UFC PPV events cost $79.99. Right now, ESPN Plus is running a limited-time promo that will knock over 50% off the cost of your first three months of monthly service. That means you can get your first three months for just $5.99/month each. Just keep in mind that you'll still need to pay the full PPV price. If you're looking for even more savings and plan to hold onto ESPN Plus for the long run, try the UFC PPV bundle. The evergreen deal combines an annual subscription to ESPN Plus (normally $119.99/year) and the next PPV event (normally $79.99) for $134.98. That's $65 less than it would normally cost to pay for the two services separately — over 30% in savings. As with the monthly subscriptions, it's important to remember that you'll always need to pay for future PPV events. How to watch UFC 316 everywhere else UFC is available around the world, so you should consult your local TV guide and listings to see if you can tune in from where you live. In the UK, Discovery Plus hosts UFC events through its Premium tier, which costs £30.99/month. Since the events are usually on so late, the option doesn't typically require a PPV fee (although sometimes this is the case). If you find yourself traveling through a region where you can't access your usual watch options, it might be time to try out a VPN (virtual private network). VPNs are tech tools that let people change their device's virtual location. This way, their favorite websites and apps work from anywhere. Aaron Rodgers Wearing Pittsburgh Steelers No. 12 Is Preposterous
Aaron Rodgers Wearing Pittsburgh Steelers No. 12 Is Preposterous originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Aaron Rodgers is finally set to be a Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback. It's what at least some Steelers fans have been pining for for months. Advertisement And we hope after all the rigmarole, everything turns out positively. Although that's not guaranteed. Since even before Rodgers made it official, images of him wearing a Steelers uniform have circulated. The only problem is, those images almost exclusively depict the four-time league MVP wearing a Steelers jersey with No. 12. What? Do the people fabricating these images have no knowledge of NFL or Steelers history? Do they not understand how ridiculous that image is? Apparently not. For those of you who don't know, while the No. 12 isn't officially retired in Pittsburgh, it's unofficially retired. Terry Bradshaw won four Super Bowls in the 70s while representing No. 12, while also helping to pull the franchise out of the proverbial gutter of the league after 41 years of embarrassment, dating back to their founding in 1933 as the Pittsburgh Pirates. Advertisement If history is any indication, Rodgers won't want to wear No. 12 anyway. When he signed on with the Jets, another Hall of Fame No. 12, Joe Namath, gave consent for Rodgers to wear it. He declined. And it's not like Bradshaw has love for Rodgers. It was less than a week ago when the Steelers legend said, 'That guy needs to stay in California. Go somewhere and chew on bark and whisper to the gods out there.' There's no doubt Bradshaw wouldn't offer consent, and maybe even less doubt that Rodgers would want to wear Bradshaw's number anyway. So if you're going to make a fake image of Rodgers in a Steelers jersey, pick another number.
