Rockville man dies after being struck by car, police say

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. () — A pedestrian was killed in a collision that happened in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Gaithersburg, officials with the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said.
Crews first responded to the scene at around 5:30 a.m. on May 14. There, the driver involved was already administering CPR to 61-year-old David Albert Parker.
MCPD said Parker was crossing Watkins Mill Road when he was hit by the driver of a silver 2018 Toyota Camry as it approached Spectrum Drive.
Rockville man faces felony charges after road rage incident, police say
Despite first responders' attempts, Parker died at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and the driver remains cooperative with detectives. MCPD encouraged anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call (240) 773-6620.
