Israel to deport six more activists detained on Gaza aid boat, rights group says
The six include Rima Hassan, a French member of the European parliament who Israel had previously barred from entering Israel and the Palestinian territories, citing her support for boycotts of the country.

Israel's Foreign Ministry, which has dismissed the aid boat as a publicity stunt, posted a photo of Ms Hassan on what appeared to be an aeroplane.
'Six more passengers from the 'selfie yacht,' including Rima Hassan, are on their way out of Israel,' the ministry wrote on X. 'Bye-bye — and don't forget to take a selfie before you leave.'
They were among 12 passengers, including climate campaigner Greta Thunberg, aboard the Madleen, a boat that sought to break Israel's blockade of Gaza and deliver a symbolic amount of aid.
Israel seized the vessel early on Monday and deported Miss Thunberg and three others the following day.
The last two activists are expected to be deported on Friday, according to Adalah, a local human rights group representing them.
It said the activists were subjected to 'mistreatment, punitive measures, and aggressive treatment, and two volunteers were held for some period of time in solitary confinement'.
Israeli authorities declined to comment on their treatment.

Israel says it treats detainees in a lawful manner and investigates any allegations of abuse.
Israel portrayed the voyage as a media spectacle, dubbing it the 'selfie yacht'.
It says the blockade, which it has imposed in various forms along with Egypt since Hamas seized power in 2007, is needed to prevent the militant group from importing arms.
Critics view it as a collective punishment of Gaza's roughly 2 million Palestinians.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry said those activists who signed deportation documents would be deported immediately, while those who refused would be brought before a judicial authority to authorise their deportation in keeping with Israeli law.
The activists have protested that they had no intention of entering Israel and were brought there against their will.
The Freedom Flotilla Coalition, which organised the journey, said it was aimed at protesting Israel's blockade of Gaza and ongoing military campaign there, which experts say has pushed the territory to the brink of famine more than 20 months into the Israel-Hamas war.

Intelligence agents with Israel's Mossad smuggled 'special-made' weapons to destroy defence infrastructure, like ballistic missile launchers. Footage shared by the agency appears to show two operatives launching a number of missiles near anti-aircraft sites in central Iran. An Israeli official later boasted that 'a base for launching explosive drones was established inside Iran and that the drones were activated during the attack to target missile launchers at a base near Tehran.' Precision weapons were also smuggles into central Iran and strategically positioned near surface-to-air missile systems, the official said, adding that Israel also deployed strike systems on vehicles. Israeli media reported that these systems 'took out' Iran's air defences and gave Israeli planes 'air supremacy'. Israel has launched a widescale attack against Iran, killing top military commanders and nuclear scientists, with the country responding by launching 100 drones of their own and promising "bitter" revenge Israel launched a widescale attack against Iran's nuclear programme - something that US President Trump said just days ago "could very well happen", and Iran has called "an act of war" - leaving the Middle East on the brink. The extensive strikes reportedly killed two top nuclear scientists, and military commanders, with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic promising swift retribution against Israel. Iran launched 100 drones in response, but Israel has since said these have all been intercepted. The attack comes as the US government was due to continue negotiations with Iran over its nuclear programme. Since 2019, Iran has been stockpiling enriched uranium that is very close to weapons-grade and has reportedly avoided answering questions about why. Though they have insisted that their nuclear programme is just for energy, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has, for many years, issued warnings that Iran intends to make weapons of mass destruction. Earlier this week the international nuclear watchdog - the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) found Iran is not complying with its nuclear obligations. As international leaders call for de-escalation, including UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, the US has said they were not involved in the operation that targetted Iran's nuclear programme, ballistic missile factories, and the residences of military commanders. However, they have warned Iran against targetting "US interests or personnel" and said they will back Israel if Iran counter-attacks.
