Not Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Allu Arjun, Yash, THIS is the only Indian actor to give two Rs 1000 crore Pan-India films, name is...
Even a superstar like Salman Khan couldn't save Sikandar from mixed reviews. Yet, fans still filled seats, proving that name value and charisma still drive success, just like Prabhas, who didn't rely on hits alone but carved his path with sheer pan-India appeal. How did Prabhas surpass even the biggest names?
Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and Jawan both crossed Rs 1,000 crore globally—but they remained primarily Hindi films with dubbed versions, not full pan-India productions. Similarly, Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 entered the club but stood alone among his works, and Vicky Kaushal fell short despite his star presence. Prabhas, however, achieved it not once, but twice—with films shot, dubbed, and marketed across multiple languages—earning him the title of true pan-India superstar. What made his first Rs 1,000 crore blockbuster, Baahubali 2, legendary?
In 2017, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion shattered records, earning Rs 1,788 Cr globally and Rs 1,030 Cr domestically. Prabhas' portrayal of father-son royalty, combined with epic visuals and timeless drama, elevated regional cinema's reach into a nationwide phenomenon. Then Kalki 2898 AD arrived
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD brought a futuristic vision rooted in the Mahabharata mythos. Co-starring Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, it crossed the Rs 1,000 Cr worldwide mark again, grossing Rs 1,042 Cr globally and Rs 646 Cr in India. A year on, a sequel is already green-lit, confirming Prabhas' cinematic universe ambitions. What's next?
The actor is now all set for his upcoming projects, The Raaja Saab – a triple-role, romantic-horror-comedy by Maruthi with co-stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan & Sanjay Dutt.
Fauji – directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, promising gritty intensity.
Spirit – a Sandeep Reddy Vanga mytho-horror that saw Triptii Dimri replace Deepika.
Brahmarakshas – with Prasanth Varma, building more high-concept mysticism. Is Prabhas India's first true pan‑India star?
By delivering two Rs 1,000 crore multilingual films, Prabhas hasn't just stood among the greats—he redefines what it means to be a pan‑India star. His journey continues, building universes of myth, magic, and mega-returns.
