Barron Mamiya wins WSL Lexus Pipe Pro for 2nd straight year
The World Surf League held the Lexus Pipe Pro finals on Saturday, with the men's and women's brackets finishing up.
Hawaii's Barron Mamiya came into the final day as the defending champion at the Lexus Pipe Pro in 2024.
On the final day, Mamiya getting his day started by defeating Jake Marshall in the quarterfinals 14.50 to 14.00. Mamiya caught 5 waves.
In the Semifinals Mamiya defeated Brazil's Ferreira 18.90 to 10.33 which punched his ticket into the championship.
For the Finals, Mamiya facing off against Leonardo Fioravanti. Mamiya on his first wave scoring a 8.17, and on his 3rd wave was able to secure a 9.80 score.
Both surfers finish with 17.97 on their 2 best waves. But the tiebreaker going to Hawaii's Barron Mamiya.

Centerville falls in state final, ends historic season as Div. 1 runner-up

The 2025 Elks became the first team in program history to advance to the state Final Four and play in a state championship game.
