The actor duo, who starred together in 1994's 'Interview With the Vampire,' appeared to be in good spirits. They posed for the cameras together, shared hugs, and seemed to engage in fun conversations.
However, the interaction was allegedly just surface-level. According to Rob Shuter's exclusive report, their reunion was 'choreographed' for a purpose. A source told the outlet that their actions had more to do with the 'optics' than reviving old times. Their joint appearance comes at a time when the duo has many professional dynamics in common.
According to the report, Pitt is anxious about the reception of his upcoming movie, 'F1.' Meanwhile, Cruise recently signed a deal with Warner Bros, a company that is co-distributing 'F1' with Apple. Moreover, the two A-listers are also connected to the film's producers, Jerry Bruckheimer and Joseph Kosinski.
Speaking about the metrics behind the reunion, a studio executive told #ShuterScoop, 'Brad's nervous. Tom needs a win. This was corporate synergy in action.'
Pitt and Cruise previously ran into each other at the 'America: A Tribute To Heroes' benefit concert in 2001. Although allegedly strategic, their reunion still made headlines. When asked what their next project would be together, Pitt quipped that he wouldn't hang himself off airplanes, referencing Cruise's preference for doing his own stunts. The 'F1' star was open to taking on a project that had them stay on the ground.

Jeremy Clarkson admits to struggling with pub business
Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that the pub he recently opened will be his last entrepreneurial venture as he 'doesn't understand' business. The Grand Tour star, whose Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm is one of the service's most-streamed TV shows, extended his business empire in July 2024, taking over rural country pub The Windmill in Asthall – a 'village boozer' on five acres of countryside near Burford. He made the purchase after finding success with his now-famous, 1000-acre Diddly Squat farm and accompanying shop, which is run by the TV personality's wife, Lisa Hogan. The purchase of his pub, which is called The Farmer's Dog, features in the latest series of Clarkson's Farm – but he has now ruled out any similar ventures in the future. 'I'm done with business now,' he said in a new interview with The Times. 'I am not starting another business as long as I live.' Clarkson admitted: 'I don't understand it and am not motivated by money. I just want a good craic.' The TV personality is now producing a TV series showcasing his efforts to be a pub landlord – much in the same way Clarkson's Farm shows his travails of running Diddly Squat. The episode shows Clarkson discover that the entirety of the pub's garden area is designated by the council as 'a picnic site' – a detail that he said became 'blurred and confusing' when he continued to read through the file. After calling his lawyer, Clarkson is told that the site previously attracted some 'unwanted and anti-social behaviour' that 'might put you off eating your picnic'. When Clarkson asked if this activity was centred around the public toilets, the lawyer said: 'We have happened upon some quite interesting photographs which capture certain graffiti and certain goings-on.' Upon inspecting the area, Clarkson discovered the activity was still going on, after finding underwear strewn about in trees. Clarkson first revealed the dogging revelation in a video shared on Instagram that saw him standing outside the pub, holding up a stick with a pair of black and pink knickers dangling off the end. Oasis issue ticket warning ahead of Cardiff gigs
British rock band Oasis has issued a ticket resale warning to fans. Their highly anticipated reunion tour is just around the corner, with their two first gigs taking place at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Friday, July 4, and Saturday, July 5. The band has now confirmed that fan-to-fan ticket resale site, Tickets, is the official ticket resale partner for Oasis Live '25 tour. In a post shared on their Instagram page, the caption read: "Wanting to buy? Be aware of fraudulent sellers on social media… Tickets can ONLY be resold legally, at face value, through Twickets or Ticketmaster." When tickets went on sale last August, the band revealed efforts to prevent touts from reselling tickets at inflated prices, by partnering up with resale platform, Twickets. In response, the Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy described the inflated selling of the tickets as "incredibly depressing" and announced that surge pricing would be included in a UK Government review of the ticket sales market, which you can read more about here. On social media, the band wrote: "We have noticed people attempting to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale. Please note, tickets can only be resold, at face value, via Ticketmaster and Twickets." In February, thousands of tickets were then cancelled by Ticketmaster in an attempt to crackdown on bots, but many fans claimed they had been targeted wrongfully. In March, Noel Gallagher shared his response to the chaos, saying he was "taken aback". He told NME: "I thought it'd be a big deal, but I was a bit taken aback by just how much of a big deal it was". There was incredibly high demand for Oasis tickets with the gigs selling out very quickly. While you can still get your hands on Oasis tickets, they are not going to be cheap.
